Hands Down one of the, if not the, best shows on television today. Majestic in it's scope and each character is beautifully portrayed. This set features all 10 episodes from Season 1 and is housed in a beautiful steelbook packaging that also comes with a magnet of the Stark House Symbol.

Based on the Song of Fire and Ice the story is intricate and involved. Quite honestly I didn't think it was going to come off well when I first heard they were adapting it to TV. Special note to the acting of Peter Dinklage as Tyrion Lannister. He does an impressive job carrying off a very difficult and nuanced role.

This was truly an amazing start to a television show that fans had a fan like me really excited. The cast was well chosen, care was taken into sets and real homage to the source material has played out in this first season. Can't wait to own the rest and will look forward to re-watching this in the years to come.

As a long haul driver I dont get home enough to watch a weekly series. I enjoy watching a full season of a series at a time, catching up on all the shows others talk about although somewhat behind. Series is great, will be purchasing other seasons in the near future to view on the road as well.

It is a good show, with a big budget. It has movie quality effects and settings. It is like a well done soap opera meets The Lord of the Rings. I personally don't like the majority of the actors but the few good actors carry the show enough to make it enjoyable. I will continue watching if just to see the characters I have grown to hate die. I hated that the episodes are oddly printed on the discs, one episode on one of the discs and the next has three. Other than that is is a good product, and I will most likely be purchasing the later seasons.

My recommend that i binge watch it. I did and later found out she just wanted to keep me busy so she could cheat on me with Larry our neighbor at his house. I got so hooked I went and purchased season 2 right after

This first season was absolutely amazing. Having not read the books, I didn’t know what to expect. Taking out the wad character in the very first season blew my mind. I already love historical shows & this did not disappoint.

My wife and I were quite a bit behind the curve on this show, but we picked up season one a few weeks back on a whim, to give it a shot. To say that it's outstanding would be a major understatement. We both thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of the first season, and are eagerly digging into season two now.

George RR Martin takes us into a vast alternate world where elite families will do anything (and I mean anything) to attain their seat upon the iron throne. Just your average political, quasi-period based, war, action, gore fest with ice demons and other fantasy elements thrown in.

Its a little bit hard to understand because all of the names but you get hook very fast then you get attached with the cast is a very good start into a world of mistery, drama, magic you name it has it all you want and more

What can I say? I am thrilled to be able to catch up on review before the show if wanted and most of all watch the first episode which was what got me hooked in the first place! The photography, sets, costumes are amazing to say the least. Need to get the rest of them!

This show has great characters which you fall into liking, and miss them once they are killed off and some you’ll really dislike. The switching between several stories happening in different areas of the landscape is nice and smooth and each has it’s own surprises to the point it’ll keep you guessing.

My husband and i caught this on sale. We have read the books and have been meaning to watch the show. I love how i can use vudu to download this to my tablet or watch it using my ps4 without having to get up to change disk. I would recommend this to anyone who somehow hasnt seen the show yet.

I absolutely love the show! I have read the book and even though it leaves out some details that are important, the audience gets the idea and can follow along easily. There is a lot of skin, blood and violence in it, but that's what you'd expect from the time period being written about (kinda).

I read the books first, and have now begun watching the series. I picked up the first season on DVD for $14.99 after price matching a Target sale price. Gotta love price matching at BB! Save money and still accumulate points. Anyway, the show so far is just as good as everyone says it is!

Great crystal clear quality and nice special features if you like to see how the series is directed . this format was a limited fold out leather book that made it all the more sweet.

A friend of mine had never seen any Game of Thrones episode, ever. I wanted him to get a taste of what everyone was talking about by buying him the first season to try it and see if he liked it. He tried it and loved it! He has now watched all of the seasons! Excellent gift!

The plot and timeline of the TV show is very close to the book. Some moments have been shortened but that doesn't take anything away from the story. The actors that they picked for the roles were perfect. The blu-ray box set of the movie is worth it for the digital copy that I can take anywhere.

I have had friends who keep telling me I need to watch Game of Thrones, well I finally broke down and bought season 1 and I am hooked. Great story line that is quite mesmerizing, I had my own marathon at home and had all season 1 episodes done in one evening. Looking forward to buying season 2.
