Love, love, love this series. Everything about it is just awesome. The first season is fantastic & lays the groundwork for the rest of the series. It enables those who haven't read the books to easily understand the characters, places, & history.

Here it is the start of one of the greatest shows ever. Strong well delivered story. Actors are spot on.Not for kids though.There's adult situations ,adult language,violence,blood and gore,friendships,love,hate,a great mix of everything.

Season one of Game of Thrones is amazing, and it will have you glued to your TV. The plotting against other characters and drama in each episode grabs your attention. If you enjoyed the original Lord or the Rings, you will truly enjoy Game of Thrones.

If you don't know about this show by now, it's about time. Due to the nudity, this is not a family friendly show. Great acting, immersive storyline, impressive computer graphics and, did I mention, flying, fire spewing dragons! Need I say more....

I started watching this series just to see if it lived up to the hype and it really does. It has had such an impact that I decided to purchase the complete series. It has an amazing story line as well as special effects.

I didnt watch this series but when i decided to follow it, i bought this one because it's re-released with Dolby Atmos, awesome sound. we dont need to say anything about this series because of it has a millions fan all over the world ...

Fell in love with this series after having read the books. Love how that has translated over onto screen! Word to the wise, don't get too attached to the characters or expect any dull moments. Graphic at times, so be prepared.

If you haven't watched Game of Thrones yet...GET WITH THE TIMES! This is one of the best shows of our generation. I haven't read the books, so all the twists are true surprises. This show is up in the rankings with Breaking Bad in my opinion.

When I discovered Game of Thrones, I binge-watched the first 4 seasons. I'm invested in these characters, and the writing is masterful and compelling. There's nothing I don't like about the content of the Blu-ray discs. However, I looked at the original first season DVDs, and this set of Blu-ray discs doesn't contain any of the special features. Guess that's why it was such a bargain. If you care about the special features, get the original version. If all you want it the shows, get this!

I would like to say if you are a fan of GOT, then you should watch this season 1 again to understand the plot. watch the first time to see how amazing the show is, watch the 2nd time for the costumes and setting, and watch the 3rd for westeros.

I'm typically someone who gets started on series by the time they reach 3 or 4 seasons. I started on GoT and binged the entire series in a matter of weeks. This show is addicting.

One of the best series ever produced next to The Sopranos. It's one of the only things I've watched on HBO especially since they've done nothing else except to show movies that keep repeating. It's a great story lines and the acting is superb.

I'm still in the middle of the first season of Game of Thrones but I can see why it is so popular. One warning - don't watch this with your teenagers if you are uncomfortable with nudity and sex scenes.

I got this first season while it was on sale. The sales person recommended this and the reviews recommend this. Now I am recommending this. IF you're a newbie like me wait until they are on sale and rack up on the seasons like I did!

I was slowly going to get season by season, but that slow progression turned out to be a couple for weeks. Definitely a great series to add to any collection.

I bought this when Bestbuy had their holiday special of $9.99. They were offering both Season 1 and 2 at this bargain price, so I took advantage of both. Game of Thrones is an excellent series and well worth it even at the regular price.

Was able to get season I & II for Christmas and add them to my collection. Really enjoyed these while they were on HBO now I can watch them any time, would like to add the rest of the seasons to my collection later.

The Game of Thrones Season One introduces you to the medieval world. It has a cast of characters that are memorable throughout the series. It has adventures, treachery, love and romance, war, magic, and mystery.

This is one of those movie sets that just will not quit! I just love it although you might consider the age bracket, lots of nudity and violence. My friend and I have movie night and have watched this entire series. Waiting for the next season.

Great show. I'm hooked. Never saw it before but since so many friends were talking about it I wanted to see what it was all about. So glad I got this. Have already watched it several times through and keep catching something new each time.
