Video yourself opening these! I waited a year and now its out stock

Unlike some, my packaging was in good condition and the SteelBook outer case and individual books are a nice presentation. My issue being Season 1 Disk 2 loads a blank menu. I cannot play three episodes of the very first season from a $200+ set. I was lucky enough to have all other menus, episodes, and UHD disks in working order but this ruins the experience by having an incomplete "complete series". Poor quality control from WB/HBO. Because this is a limited SteelBook and my local Best Buy no longer has this version in stock, what am I supposed to do? Return a set of 8 seasons for 3 missing episodes I can watch on HD in HBO Max? Seems like I would be running the risk of damaged second set mailed by Best Buy or the possibility of more UHD disk failures as others of described in their reviews. Nah I will hold onto my 95% great 5% incomplete set with annoyance.

A great series with sketchy technical issues. Best Buy has very good Customer Service that saves the day.

The encoding seemed to be poorly done. I noticed small stutters and ocasional image artifacts not present on any of my other discs. The packaging is quite nice but they changed the interior layout of the season 7 and 8 cases to stack several discs on top of each other instead of having a center disc holder.

All season 2 discs are missing, just got an empty steelbook for that season. Closest in-stock store is 50 miles away, and I'm not willing to risk an exchange via mail. Could happen with another edition and metal case would probably be in worse shape.

The item I received was supposed to be new. It was opened and obviously re-shrinkwrapped. The two first disks had grimmy fingerprints all over them. 4 of the 8 disks did not play properly (so I'm guessing I got a prior return, but can't prove that). But there is no doubt it had been opened previously. Anyhow, I returned it and did not repurchase as I have no way to know I'll get a new copy and not another return.

I gave this a two star review for one reason only. I made this expensive purchase under the impression that I would be receiving a 4k packaged tv series (4k DVD and digital download) as stated on the bestbuy website. The only 4k in this bundle is the DVD, not the digital download. I was really looking forward to the 4k download. What a disappointment..

I bought it once and I returned it for a disc it did not work they gave me another collection anyway another disc without working the same I returned it, advice try all the discs and do not wait a month to see them.

After reading some of the reviews I was hesitant to buy this set. I took the chance and now I have an expensive boxset with a disk that won't read. Season 2 disk 1 just has a black screen and now I have to drive 50 miles to see if I can exchange it. I looked at buying it from Amazon but a lot of reviews stated that people had issues with their set. I thought that shouldn't be an issue buying from Best Buy. Guess I was wrong.

Horrible job shipping this set. Whoever sent this set placed it inside a large box with no packaging insolation whatsoever. It arrived dented with discs loose in their cases. I will never buy another steel book from Best Buy again.

I love the show and already had it in digital HD. I was excited to see it come out in 4K but for this price, the digital should also be in 4K and it is NOT. No thanks.

Do not buy Game of Thrones 4K complete set. Absolutely worst purchase I've ever made at BB. The package nor the website clearly describe that the digital copy is inferior to the disc copy. (UHD discs are 4K and the digital is HD). I have never purchased a blu ray nor UHD disc where the digital copy is inferior to the disc copy. Would anyone want to buy a blu ray disc to get a standard resolution digital copy? I can't think of another example where this has occurred.

Outer metal case was damaged in shipping. Best Buy shipped in an oversized box with no packing to protect the item. So far one disc is unreadable (Season 2) and had to try 3 times before another disc would read. I have two 4k Players, a Sony and Samsung, tried both discs in both players. Still have 6 seasons to go.....worried that there will be more bad discs...I've been seeing this problem a lot in the past year or so with bad discs...poor manufacturing process.

So, I’m going through all the steel books checking out the inside of each one and then I get to steel book #7. What’s inside? NOTHING. Zero discs. Are you kidding me? For a 200+ dollar set of discs this is a joke. Seeing if I can exchange for what I actually spent my money on.

Came without digital codes. Had to return. Had a second steelcase sent that one also came without the digital code.

Like others mentioned, my set was also missing a disc: Season 8, Disc 1. I suppose it could be worse since I already own Season 8 in 4K, but I expected more for such an expensive, limited edition product. Also, lack of digital 4K code is very disappointing.

Only includes an HDX digital version. This is also the last time I buy steelbooks from Best Buy, these are a limited release of 7600 and mine arrived dented and scratched beyond belief.

Missing all of the discs for season 2. I was very surprised to open and see that the season 2 steel book was completely empty.

I ordered this with one day shipping and got sent an SD card lol, thankfully I kept the packaging and went to the store and got the proper product. Accidents happen, but I am glad the resolution was painless. The housing was also dented quite badly, but it was the last one so I bit the bullet just to have one, not to happy on that front.
