This is a good series, very interesting and entertaining

We don't have HBO, can't justify spending extra money every month just to watch the same movies over and over again, but we LOVE Game of Thrones. We of course have the first two seasons and couldn't wait until the third came out. We got it the day it was available, plus the week of availability is the lowest price you can get. Incredibly great show. Great storyline, acting and cinematography. Get it, you'll be hooked, just like us...

Game of Thrones continues to be one the best series that HBO has produced. Be sure to prepare yourself for marathon because you'll be on the edge of your seat watching the show. Spoiler alert – you can root for the good guys all you want but don’t be shocked when they get the axe, literally… Can’t wait for season four! The quality of the Blu-Ray is unreal. Price is awesome for the full season on DVD, Blu-Ray, and a digital copy.

Good looking blu ray and so far season 3 is really good.

While Season 2 of Game of Thrones was enjoyable, Season 3 broke viewers hearts again and again in ways we hadn't really seen since Season 1. Brutal stuff. The extras in this Blu-Ray set are pretty great - I especially enjoyed the in-studio behind the scenes with The Hold Steady talking about their awesome recording of "The Bear and the Maiden Fair" that closed out episode 3.

I, like a lot of other people, am obsessed with Game of Thrones but am not subscribed to HBO. I have season one on DVD and season two on Blu-Ray. Blu-Ray is definitely the better option when watching Game of Thrones because the picture is clearer and the sound is just overall better, clearer, louder and brings those actions scenes more justice. Got season three on sale and was very pleased with my purchase.

Have not actually watched it yet because we are waiting for granddaughter to watch it with us. I know we will enjoy it as we enjoyed season one and season two of Game of Thrones. Had difficulty at checkout when entering my best buy credit card as there was a red alert indicating it was expired yet there is no expiration date on best buy credit card. Customer Service helped me place order over the phone and was very helpful.

This show takes risks and I love it. A great season.

I purchased the dvd versions and was OK with them, but wanted a little more. Blue Ray version answered that More in depth information about the characters and locations in Westeros. There is even a function that while you are watching your favorite episode, jumps to a video of some chosen content. Videos are narrated by the characters. If you're a fan and haven't read the books like me, definitely pick up the Blu Ray

Season 3 of Game of Thrones is where the story really begins to take off. The acting, cinematography, and story line really continue to shine. Great deal from Best Buy on Standard Edition DVD sets and Blu-ray as well. Season 3 has just what you would expect in the world of twists, surprises, and shock and awe! If you've watched the first 2 seasons, this 3rd will not let you down and have your head rolling for season 4!

Just what someone asked for at a really good price.

The third season of this wonderful action/fantasy/adventure series does not disappoint. The acting, the action, and the OMG moments are all there and better than before. If you haven't seen the series before, you have to start from the beginning, trying to catch up from this point is very tough. Also, not recommended for watching while children are around, or those faint-hearted about language, violence, or nudity.

First two seasons, i had got DVD version. Third one I got a blu-ray disk instead. The picture quality is obviously way better than DVD, but what amazed was the Dolby Atmos audio. Unfortunately the season 4 disk that I just opened is not Dolby Atmos. So I will need to verify before I open my season 5 disks.

It was a countdown to the next season. The acting has improved with the maturing of the cast interaction. The scenery cannot be improved upon since it is already the best. Costumes are fantastic, although the dresses sometimes look cumbersome particularly Sensa'. But the action and grappling is gritty and well played. Very hard not to binge watch the whole season, almost did that at first. Overall glorious.

I would recommend Game Of Thrones to anyone who loves a good story with great characters. The television series is the most faithful depiction of a novel that I have ever encountered. I do not agree with the series' overuse of nudity/adult situations and think that the series would lose nothing if they scaled that aspect back, however the intricate plotlines and rich characters keep me coming back for more!

I have read all the "Song of Ice and Fire" books so far and am very happy with the TV series. The character development and interactions are what draw me into the whole story line. I would like to have more details included in the DVD series (like LOTR did,) but understand the limitations of TV. If someone likes this type of story, I recommend that that they read the books, even after watching the series.

Anyone purchasing this should already know of the show itself. To that, I would add that the bonus features and extras are wonderful. I'm only part way through reading the books, and following all the history and varied characters can be confusing. The extras are very helpful in sorting it all out. It helps a lot in understanding how it all fits together, and makes for a much more rewarding experience.

Being late to get on the Game of Thrones bandwagon, I was anxious to grab the Blu-Ray of the third season, having binge watched the first two seasons quite quickly. Great decision! HBO has followed up their fine previous releases with a product more than equal to the quality of the earlier releases! Don't hesitate to pick up this great item and kick-off the next part of this epic tale.
