G.o.t. has a very involved story line. Very in depth character development and this can easily make the viewer become attached and relate to different characters at any given time. The directors and the writers are awesome for making you want more. I can't get enough of G.O.T and especially at the end of each episode I just HAVE to keep watching the next one.

Like Season One and Season Two Blu-Rays, Game of Thrones: Complete Third Season is packed with beautiful bonus features and great deleted/extended scenes. Don't even bother with the DVD -- the high production value of this masterful series deserves to be witnessed only in full Blu-Ray HD glory! Can't wait to add Season 4 to my collection next week!

If you are a fan of seasons 1&2 then you will order the other seasons. My review is of the fantastic price and amazing service. I bought this online on Thanksgiving day for Black Friday prices and received it in the mail the following week with no shipping charges. Waiting for bad weather so l can binge watch. You just can't stop watching it. Every episode is movie quality. If your bored with a character they probably die soon, if your loving a character they may be dead soon. If you can't remember who they are they'll definently be dead soon, it's a win win situation. I say more fun than reading the books, but if you've read the books you'll still be surprised.

Seasons one and two of Game of a Thrones were the appetizer and the salad, season three is the main course.,Mathis is another excellent adaptation of Miller's books that bring the story to life. The casting is excellent as are the special effects and the swift pace of the storytelling. There is no doubt that this ranks among of the finest TV ever created.

If you've watched Game of Thrones previously, you know what you're getting. HBO is doing a great job translating these books to the screen. This season is where everything really gets moving, characters get fleshed out, and you start you realize how dark this world is. Don't hesitate to pick this up and spend the next day in front of your television!

A huge fan of this show! I really like the story. If you liked the first two seasons of Game of Thrones then this is a must get. I can't wait for season four. Also George R. R. Martin needs to hurry up and finish the last two books (#6 & #7) because the show is catching up with you quick. HBO and the BBC is going to run out of material pretty soon.

I confess, I am an addict. Not only did my daughter and I binge watch season 2 during her winter break, we watched season 1 - 6! Once you start, you can't stop! You want to see who is left standing at the end and how justice will be served. The cinematography is incredible. The episodes are filmed all over the world.

I didn't watch the first few seasons and decided to start from the beginning. I bought this version for the digital version which I downloaded to my tablet. I can now watch on the plane or with an MHL adapter jack into a hotel TV. I can't yet comment on the show as I am still on season 2. I wish all dvd's had a digital copy included.

This series, based off the George R.R. Martin book series, although excellent, is not for beginners, or new comers to the series. Several main characters from the books are missing, or just kind of do a walk-thru on this series. I think it would be quite confusing to someone who has just watched this, and not read the books. My advise...do both!

Game of Thrones Season 3 on BluRay is absolutely fantastic. Great cinematography, great writing and directing, great acting, and many characters you either love or can't wait until their heads are on spikes! Sound quality on 7.1 surround is great. I love watching the subwoofer dance across the floor during fight scenes. Do not wait to get this!

Through the years, never was interested in watching the series. Thought it was more science fiction (not to my liking). But when, by chance I actually watch an episode, I was hooked. Great series, Great acting, Great scenery. What more to say, Just GREAT. One of the best series on TV. It's a tie with Outlander.

Literally I held back on starting this TV show because I had heard such rave reviews that I knew once I watched one show I wouldn't be able to stop and people weren't kidding when they told me that would happen. It's has a great plot, always has a twist or turn you aren't expecting and as I said you literally just don't want it to end.

Game of Thrones is probably one of the best TV shows of all time. Each season is packed with more elements that progress the story. The characters are well portrayed, and the actors/actresses seem like they were born for their specific roles. If you are a fan of either the novels or the HBO show, this is a must have for your collection.

The show just gets better and better with each episode. CGI use is blockbuster movie quality. It's one of the only show that leaves you guessing who's going to die, become a traitor, etc and then leave you on a cliff hanger at the end of each episode and you can't wait to watch the next episode. It's the one of the best shows on cable.

You already know the show is good, but HBO has been taking things a few steps further; with their Blu-ray releases, they include the Standard DVD's with the set. No one else does this (that I know of), and it makes your viewing options that much better. I can watch on my Blu-ray player or my laptop. And oh, yeah, the show's awesome...

The only issue I have with this season pack is the slip with the shadow of the dragon. It's very slippery and doesn't stay in place. Just a cosmetic issue, but worries me when transporting it since I feel like the discs case will fall out. Nothing that should keep you from buying this season though, because the show is fantastic!

If you love this genre than this is for you. The politics and intrigue of this series is second to none. Great visuals, acting and surprises. The realism of this series puts you in its world and sometimes you think your watching actual history instead of a fantasy. I highly recommend this series to all sword and sorcery fans.

Love the whole series. I think that I have enjoyed season 3 more than season 2. I enjoy the box set because i like to hear the background stories about the other houses and histories. If you forget who the characters are or how some relate to others you can just hear about them with out losing your place. Great feature for me.

"Game of Thrones" is easily one of the best TV shows going. But even with HDTV and a decent sound system, the broadcast of the show pales in comparison to the quality of picture and sound one gets with the Blu-Rays. The enhancements just make the show even MORE enjoyable . . . somehow making the show almost a cinematic event.
