Its the season of the show where the Red Wedding takes place. If you don't know what it is, you will when you see it. Its when the various plots and schemes of many finally start to boil over as they all come into conflict. The good guys do not always win, so don't go into this expecting that kind of outcome. Also, dragons!

Love the show, and watch only when it comes out on disc, so important that I have all avenues to watch, including digital copy...which season 3 had across the board. The show is great, as is the story line and acting, if you know HBO, you know they hold nothing back to deliver a quality product. They have done so once again.

Great characters, consistent surprises, and satisfying threads, Game of Thrones has never been better. And, of course, the infamous "Rains of Castamere" episode may be one of the greatest in television history. As usual, the DVD is loaded with special features. A must own in your video library.

My wife and I just recently binged through every season and feel in love with the story and characters. It’s a little rough at times to watch which we fast forwarded through. We recently went back and bought the complete series on Blu-ray and Digtal. It’s one of our top shows ever!

The third installment in HBO's Game of Thrones is just as good, if not better, than the previous two. Storyline aside, the video quality is clear, sharp, and pristine. The audio tracks match that of the video. The set also includes plenty of extras, and the set comes packaged with DVDs and digital copies (iTunes and VUDU).

Just another great package with the blu ray and digital download. The video and audio are fantastic and season 3 is another great season in the show! If you love the show you will love this blu ray/digital download set and if you're never seen the show you have to watch seasons 1 and 2 first!

Season 3 of Game of Thrones continues and builds on the first two season. This pack is a great deal because not only does it have the BluRay with all of the features, it also includes a DVD version, and most impressively a redemption code to download all of the episodes and special features on iTunes and not Ultraviolet.

The casting is excellent. Although not everything is the same between the books and the series they stick pretty much to it. I don't know how they'll do some of the things in the books but, up until now, they've managed to WOW me. The disks come in a nice package with BluRay, regular DVD and the option for web access.

The Blu-ray provides a superb picture and sound. The story keeps getting better and more interesting. The acting is top notch. The quality of the production is movie quality. Buy this and watch it. Game of Thrones hooks you and reels you in and you become an addict to the series.

Game of Thrones season 3 is the season that fans of the books have been waiting for to see how a now infamous scene was put on film. If you haven't seen it yet, the shock and surprise will not be ruined. The build-up to the penultimate episode is well-paced as is expected from this show with many stand-out moments.

Game of Thrones is an enticing show, once it's gets you, it gets you, and you're definitely in for a ride. Your emotions WILL be all over the place, and you won't be able help it. Over all, it's a wonderful show for anyone into the Fantasy genre, or just anyone in general who loves a good story.

Over all the DVD stayed pretty close to the novel you can't expect the DVD to go into the details that the novel did but overall I was MORE than satisfied with the movie. I look forward to seeing the next epoxides with bated breath. I also think that it gives a more realistic view of this period in history.

The story in the TV series loosely follows Martin's books, if you are a purest this will only upset you (spoiler: the series kills off more characters than George). But taking into account the jaunting task of bringing his works to life and treating them with respect, this series surpasses all expectations.

Season 3 of the Game of Thrones continues the excellence from the first two seasons...based on the great series of books by George R.R. Martin, Season 3 is basically the 1st half of the third book in the series, and it does a great job of developing characters and plot lines. One of HBO's best series ever!

George R R Martin truly tells an amazing story and it has been translated to TV by some great TV writers. The story keeps you totally involved and never is predictable. The action scenes are as good as anything you will see in a big budget movie. Waiting every season until next year is driving me crazy

Brings the books to life with enough differences between the books to make it interesting to fans who've read them previously. It exciting to see what the author and directors have done with a second chance to improve upon the story. Or to see what would have happened in slightly different circumstances.

This DVD collection of 5 discs (10 episodes) is the third in the tv series. If you follow the books it represents the first half of the third book. If you loved the books you will love this show. Several things are different from the book but the main story is told very well. Buy it! Watch it! Enjoy it!

It's well made and worth seeing for any Martin fans. There are some deviations from the books, but on the whole it captures the spirit of Martins work. Excellent characterizations of Tyrion, Tywin, and Joffrey. Only caveat is that it is very mature material. This is not intended for younger viewers.

This show has great characters which you fall into liking, and miss them once they are killed off and some you’ll really dislike. The switching between several stories happening in different areas of the landscape is nice and smooth and each has it’s own surprises to the point it’ll keep you guessing.

You can't go wrong with the Game of Thrones series. Plenty of different events spread out among many very rich characters, some likable and others not so much. Wishing the episodes were longer and that there were more in a season is a testament to the overall replay value of the Game of Thrones series.
