the writing is fun and creative the cast of characters have such a fit and sense of rawness from that time period people were cutthroat and viscous yet it was looked at as successful and distinguished, the cinematography is great as well all your senses get attacked and yet there's the sense of fantasy

One of the greatest TV shows ever continues and just gets better and better. No spoilers but this is the best season yet. Please do not try starting out here. Rent or Buy the first two seasons, otherwise you will not appreciate this 3rd season as much. Rent them, buy them, you will not be disappointed

At the suggestion of a co-worker, I watched the first episode and I've been hooked ever since. This is absolutely the best HBO series I have watched. The character development, cinematography, plot twists, catastrophic "weddings", and the like, make for an awesome show! Anxiously awaiting Season 5.

When I started watching Game of Thrones, this season is the one that really got me into the series and convinced me to give the books a try as well. The first two seasons aren't bad or boring by any stretch, but season 3 just seemed to raise the bar. Love watching the episodes in HD.

Series is winning awards for a reason and grateful to be able to watch at my own pace. The download to my phone is also a wonderful bonus! Wish the first disc didn't have commercials for both episodes, should only view these on first episode. Enjoying this immensely

Game of Thrones is my favorite show on TV and has been for years. Now that Breaking Bad is over, GoT has no competition. Every season improves on the last, with the new Season 3 being the best season yet. I highly recommend buying this product, and every season before it! Season 4 begins in April...

This is an overall great adaptation of George RR Martin's classic book "The Storm of Swords" Here you will be brought through various trial and tribulations as kings and queens fight to rule. The highlight of this season occurs in episode 9, so get through them fast and set your eyes on season 4.

This (as you probably already know) is a great season of a great show. However, I'm more impressed with the packaging of this specific SKU. The steelbook fits better on my shelf than the regular season packaging, and the magnet it comes with is a cool token to have on hand.

I have been waiting for this season to come on DVD since it started. This is getting me pumped for the 4th season and I can't wait for more. As always, the series tells more than one viewpoint and exceeds the boundaries of the books. This was my favorite book and it is my favorite season so far.

Not only is the show absolutely phenomenal, but it's packed with special features that are not included outside of the physical copy. Highly recommend, especially if you're into the background/history of Westeros and are into the production of the show. Awesome!

Great price for a season of an HBO miniseries was my first thought! Lots of great extras to break up the season or to watch at the end! Overall quality and value is EXCELLENT! Took some time to get all the data off of itunes but now I can icloud any episode anywhere I have wifi to my ipad mini!

Continuation of the Fire and Ice saga. Amazing sets, characters and the story never lets up. The only bad thing is that the season is only 10 episodes and leaves you wanting SO much more. Never had a series where so many characters were expendable, but it makes for the most amazing story lines.

I read all 5 books of this series, and would not have believed that it could be put into a TV series. But the producers have done an excellent job at showing the location, the actors, the clothing, just everything. Watching it has been as enjoyable as reading the books, and that's saying a lot!

Has to be one of the best series on cable television! Game of Thrones is true to the books making most fans happy. Some of the best production values in or out of Hollywood. Outstanding writing and acting. The best show on pay tv. GAME OF THRONES seadon 3 will keep you on the edge of your seat!

The only thing better than Season 1 & 2 is Season 3!! This show has an amazing cast of characters and complex plots - like a four course meal at a fancy restaurant, it cannot be matched for quality entertainment. And now you can own it and watch it anytime! What are you waiting for?

I was late in joining the party watching this show, but now that I have, I can't seem to stop. The twists in this season leave you feeling an array of emotions and changes the way you feel about some of the characters that you both loved and hated. Can't wait to start season 4!

This is the best TV show of all time so obviously this season is great also. It has the biggest and most sad death ever on a tv show that I can think of and just continues the greatness of seasons 1 and 2. This is a must buy! And Best Buy had the best price on sale for $25 for regular DVD.

A very good continuation to the series that mostly follows the books. The pace has slowed in relation to the books which has allowed the writers to be more detailed on the character development. As a bonus, it gives the TV series some extra time as Mr. Martin completes the book series.

Great miniseries, HBO does it again. I do not subscribe to HBO so I have to wai till the season is released. The whole family waits patiently until the release date. Recommend that you watch this from the very begining to truly appreciate and follow the story, you won't be disappointed.
