This is just a fun fast paced gangster movie about Micky Cohen and the squad that's put together to stop him.

'Gangster Squad' is a stylish, period piece action-film that's enjoyable from start to finish.

I saw this on the big screen and I loved this movie. If you liked the Untouchables you will also like this move. It has a lot of action, a good plot and good acting.

Overall this is a great movie, it has a good balance of comedy and action, this is a move you definitely want to add to your collection if you like action movies, I just wish that it was a bit longer, seemed a bit rushed towards the end but still an overall enjoyable movie.

Gangster Squad is the unwanted child of The Untouchables and L.A. Confidential. 40's era L.A.? Check. Brutal mob boss? check. Ragtag group of misfit officers? check. The movie tries to take the best elements of both films and churn out it's own version. The problem is both of the previous films are superior and just because you try to copy the formula, doesn't mean you'll get it right. Having said that, if you are capable of ignoring the previous films or have never seen them, then Gangster Squad isn't too bad. If you love gangster movies, then you might want to check it out. Probably works best as a rental.

Great cast and a good mix of action and drama. A good movie if your a fan of nostalgic movies. From the cars to the way people used to dress, and the architecture. Awesome

The movie is a trip in time all the cars are here. All the settings of how they looked then. Action is great characters existed from the 1940's. Reminds me of the game L.A. Noire.

Good movie overall. Kept me in suspense and was fun for the whole family.

Feels a lot like The Untouchables, but not quite there. Sean Penn plays a mean Mickey Cohen, but.. probably just way too mean all the time. Seems to fail at both being a serious movie and a simple action movie. Was somewhat bored at the end. Worth a rent for the 40's crowd. PQ and AQ are fantastic.

Worth the purchase, could have been better. I would reccommend it.

This film had a chance for greatness, but it stumbles a few times. It's certainly worth a viewing and I think most people will enjoy it.

The bluray pictured shows "Bluray DVD Ultraviolet" but the movie received only includes Bluray. Good thing BB is convenient for returns.

Such a choice! Glad my husband and I decided to get it. You won't be disappointed!

It was pretty entertaining, but parts of it were really over the top.
