Got disposal installed but then he said the power from the switch up above didn't work so I would have to get an electrician to fix that to get disposal to work. Also new disposal cold water hookup did not fit existing output valve so I would need a plumber to fix that. Ended up costing me an extra $700 to get it to work after hiring an electrian and then a plumber.

The installation was more than the part. But I was pleased with the service!!

Installers didn’t speak English and needed to use Google Translator to communicate with us. They left with the wrench to the unit. We need to get that back

We had ordered a garbage disposal to be installed. Everything seemed great until the actual installation date. We received communication and confirmation in the best buy app took the day off from work for this. Needless to say it never happened and I wasted a day off. The customer service team was pleasant but the third party company best buy lied and stated they had come and installed the item but never showed up. Best buy needs to review its third party partners better in my opinion.

Lousy, unprofessional, dirty, non-communicative installers. SAAV installers never called to confirm the day before or the day of install. Came an hour earlier than scheduled. Broke two parts. Had to hire a Plummer to fix their mess. Left a mess behind that I had to clean. It’s crazy with all the bad reviews that Best Buy is still using them. Wonder who at Best Buy is getting a kick back otherwise these installers make no sense.

Whole experience almost could not have gone worse. Three broken appointments over the course of a month before the installer actually showed. When he did, he was unmasked and stank heavily of cigarettes. Had to scrub down the kitchen area he worked in for safety and removal of his odor. He spent the entire time on the phone with his main office having someone telephone guide him through the installation and it was incorrectly installed because he didn't punch out the hole for the dish washer to drain into. The seals on the disposal leaked due to his error and ruined the cabinet. 0/10

The disposal was installed and work for a week before it started to leak water. It took a week to get someone to come look at it. That person tried to fix the problem but was unable to. We are still waiting on Best Buy to correct the problem so we can use our new disposal. Pretty pathetic. At this point I wouldn’t recommend anyone buy anything from Best Buy.

This garbage disposal makes so much noise and is slow to grind the garbage. I should have kept my old disposal. I would not buy this product again.

Laughable. Best Buy and their partner vendors are so disorganized. I would not use the In Home Design option again if I were to do this over again. The team that was supposed to install my garbage disposal today showed up without one. And then told me there had been a miscommunication with their office and they would need to reschedule. A waste of their time and mine. And this is the tenth issue of this type I’ve had with Best Buy since buying my appliance package from their In Home Design team. I’ve attempted to correct these issues with numerous calls to their customer service. Get transferred all over the place. Save yourself the headache.

Worst experience I ever had. Person did not show up. When called did not respond. Then text me of coming in next day and never showed up. Finally I called the third party myself and came to know that he marked the job completed. I went to the local store and the concerned person didn’t reply to his own customer service person. Called geek squad they promised to call back after looking into it and never call.

The worse experience ever!!! When item was sold to me i purchased installation. Continues delays with multiple rescheduling for the delivery of this item. Finally after delivering I was told that installation will cost me additional 600$ …..
