Needed this to keep my GPS charged while driving. The usb charger was not enough.

A standard auto adapter plug does not work with a Garmin GPS. This product is made for a Garman and it works.

This car charger is much better than the one which came with the device. The original began to tear the cord away from the plug in soon after I got it. This seems to have a much sturdier, well built receptacle cord part. Plus, it's not much but, this one has a blue light which is much easier to see than the small red dot on the original so you know when it is charging.

The Garmin comes with a car charger but if you need an extra this is great.

Bought this garmin GPS charger cable for a older GPS unit that I still had around the house. Connected the charging cable to the garmin GPS and the other end of the cable into the car 12 power outlet. GPS charger cable instantly started charging the GPS battery!
