Was on vacation, when d.c. power cord wires broke on our Garmin gps. I was afraid we wouldn't be able to find a replacement power cord (since we have an older model gps). We were surprised when a salesman said he had a replacement cord in stock. We purchased the power cord and continued on our vacation. Thank goodness for BEST BUY.

I am a little weary to order a part from a 3rd party as a replacement for my Garmin GPS even though they always seem like a good deal on the web. I would rather go to Best Buy and buy an OEM. And in this case, the car charger works as it supposed to. It charges the battery and allows me to get traffic reports. Good purchase.
