I needed to replace the cord for my GPS.i didn't want to replace the whole GPS because it was fine but the charging cord broke so this was a good replacement cord.

I bought this for my wife to replace a generic cord she had purchased and wasn't working. She's now able to use her GPS in the car again without running out of battery power.

A month or so ago, I went to plug in my Garmin and the part that goes into the socket was in pieces. I went into Best Buy and bought a replacement charger and it works great!!

Having been a customer of Garmin for a number of years, I was really surprised to see how cheaply this vehicle charger was built. The cord is one third as thick as it used to be and the plug leaves lot to be desired, because it won't last long. In their quest to make money by skimping on materials, they are diminishing their product and customer base. The unit works, but won't for long in any area that has four seasons. The material will give way to the elements and the man handling of the user. While it's ease of use is highly rated, the quality of materials will deteriorate it's functionality in short order.

As the summary suggests, the cord did as expected. One bonus was the fact that the cord appeared to be longer than the length of the original.

Had exactly what I needed with no hassles. Wish you had more choses of new GPSs for when I decide to upgrade to a newer model.

The original charging cable quit working. This one works perfectly.

This replacement part is money well spent. I'd stay away from the aftermarket products and go right for the original equipment. The lenght of the cord comes in handy.

The Garmin help line recommended the Garmin nuvi Vehicle Charger at Best Buy. It is the same model number as my broken cable, and it works perfectly.

My original charging cable became defective so I replaced it with this one. It works great and I have no issues with it. I would purchase again if needed.

This charger worked perfectly with my garmin gps. The original failed and a generic gps charger from another store did not work with my garmin.

I bought this cause my vehicle charger for my Garmin wasnt charging properly. This charger is the same brand as my GPS. I would recommend it to anyone.
