However it is not the cable shown. The box was very confusing showing a round pin but the cable is a mini USB plug. The installer put in a key operated socket (in Mercedes and Porsches all electronics stay hot). However an employee directed my to the correct cable in spite of the confusing packaging.

Didn't have to buy new GPS
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.My GPS I got fromm Bestbuy start having problem because cigarett liter jack wire became loose and not making contact -- dead battery. I went to the store and was shopping for a new one when I explained the siutation to the sales person who suggested I may only need replacement cable and poiinted to the right direction. This jack function as usual with cool blue light when it is on. Saved myself $160.
