The original part failed on a trip. Had another trip planned in three days - the part was a work around for the original and did not have traffic - but got me where I needed to be.

bought this to replace my ripped cable, instead of purchasing a new charger. this saved me a lot of money! item was delivered on time and item was packaged really well.

Pick this up at local bed buy store, amazon had to cheaper and the store matched the price. Garmin brand power cord.

I found that the only charger that was compatible with Garmin is Garmin charge. .Be sure it is a Garmin charger that is purchased if charger is lost.

Works better that the one that came with the GPS The connection that goes to rhe GPS is better design and will last longer because it will not bent like the previous design

We were pleased to see that this OEM replacement equipment was in stock and available as an on-line purchase. And the in-store pickup was quick and easy. A true "Best Buy!".

It's not the same as the charger that came with the GPS. The original included a traffic sensor that allowed you to see accidents and construction and made it possible to avoid these issues. With this charger, that function of this GPS is no longer available.

My old Garmin stopped working, and by chance I tried just getting a new charger cord. It worked, so I did not have to get a new Garmin Unit just yet.

The original became increasingly unreliable. After struggling to keep the old one working at different angles I simply bought this. Perfect solution.

The charger on my old Garmin was broken. I ordered a replacement that would fit several chargers and was so happy that it worked on mine.

Did not think it would work as my gps has a small transformer like box but due to it being significantly cheaper than replacing. I took the risk and it seems to work just fine.

Excellent I use it so I don't have to carry cables when I change cars. It gives me piece I mind that it's a Harmon product which insures it's working with the right voltage

The cord was bought to replace a frayed Garman cord that kept shorting out. It does fine at moving power from the car to the GPS. How durable it is remains to be seen.

We were actually looking to replace our combination traffic transmitter/power cord. However, Best Buy no longer carried it in the store or online. We decided to settle for just the power cord. It is plenty long and works as designed. We really miss the traffic updates though.

Only option really for a Garmin. Only thing I would like to see is a cable that doesn't go hard in cold weather. This can cause a break in the wire when you store it. But only option, last one just stopped working, no doubt a break inside due to reason mentioned.

The original power cord snapped at the plug end, I picked this up the same day and it works as advertised. Not getting lost again.

I really have nothing bad to say about this replacement power cable. The only disappointment is that I couldn't find a cable in stock that suppots live traffic features. Not sure if that is even available without going to Garmin directly, so this is the next best thing.
