This can add 15 min. or more to my arrival time because I can end up going so many different ways when I'm still on the highway or near multiple intersections. Why does it keep restarting my GPS? I can't reach my destination without it restarting my GPS at least three times.

If you try to use a standard usb cable; like you can with Tom Tom; the Garmin gps enters computer storage mode.
