I asked for a replacement and was told this is the cable I need. New cable doesn't have the traffic information receiver built in. Very disappointed. New cable charges the Garmin, but doesn't function as the original.

The problem is in the charger itself and not the cord. Having to replace this charger every few months is a good reason not to buy a Garmin GPS unit at all next time.
