    Extreme charge for gas hookup !

    Installation good. Two outside contractors came for the install. However, the connection from the stove is 3/4” where the old stove was 1/2”. Contractor offered to let me do it. He was in the middle of the install. I wanted to get it done, so I had him do it. I wish I had been told ahead of time to check the size of the fittings, that newer cooktops have the larger fitting. The contractor charged $95 !!! He removed the 3/4” to 1/2’ reducer and screwed on a 3/4” x 3/4” elbow. So, for a $3 part and maybe 5 minutes of work I was charged $95!!! Very, very disappointed.

    Installation was not provided due to installers unable to install it they were only minimum things that they are allowed to do and unfortunately it did not work out for what we needed

    defective unit

    The fellows doing the install were great; efficient; courteous; friendly. However, the unit was defective !! Brand new and the three back burners did not work. They kept clicking and clicking and did not light up. Horrible. Day number one, the team came to check if the unit would fit. Day number two, install of defective unit. And then we had to wait 10 days for a replacement. Not accommodating at all. The employees who answer the phone are trained (they probably have a script) to say: "I feel your pain and frustration, but......." For a defective, expensive unit, you would think they would make an effort to deliver within a couple days. Not happy with service from Best Buy. Still waiting for delivery so I can write a review.

    We are happy with Gas cooktop but the installation was not as we expected. Installation team charged us a whooping 400 Dollars for a minor kitchen island cutting that was required for adjustment. They did not give us enough time to think, and were showing rush all the time. There was not much of a choice and we ended up paying $400 for something that typically cost 150 - 200 Dollars.
