    Excellent cooktop. My wife is VERY happy! When we renovate the kitchen we'll put this one in the outdoor kitchen and we'll be back to order a full-size stove!

    Totally disorganized install process, Cooktop was purchased on 2/6/25 and still is not installed. Installer came in March, but did not know that it is a propane install. I advised the salesman in Feb that we needed a propane install kit, but none was ordered. Also advised the person who came to measure about the need for the kit. No one listened. Your rep from Potomoc mills tried to straight this out and ordered the kit and set a new install date. Subsequently I got a call for the install people who stated that they did not come to our location on that day. That person had no knowledge of the need for a propane kit even though it has been ordered, and it is supposed to arrive on 5 April. Install now scheduled for 11 April, over two months since the purchase. I will never but an appliance from Best Buy again!

    The Installers were very courteous and prompt. They called 30 minutes prior to coming. After removing the old Range-top and installing the New one it was working fine.

    This review is encompassing a lot so I didn’t know where to put it. As an 8 year employee of Best Buy, a place where I met my now wife, to say I am disappointed in the lack of service is an understatement. First I would like to point out that the salesman was awesome. From there though it went downhill fast. Everything is contracted out now. The site survey was cancelled and rescheduled on us without warning. The install was also canceled and rescheduled the same. The site survey team showed up WITHOUT a tape measure. The install team re-measured and assured me it would not fit without cutting the countertop The guys who did that (not Best Buy) came, unboxed it. Dropped it in without a single cut. Easy. What’s terrible is not being able to communicate. One can’t call the store and speak to anyone for help. I seriously question what all the store employees do all day? I sold everything from car stereos, home theater and appliances all while selling warranty’s and accessories while answering the phone. Oh we also pulled 300 lb TVs ourselves during the busy times, my wife included. Simply put this is not the Best Buy I know. Every item in my house is from Best Buy, that will now change that’s how disappointed I am. Customer Service was what my store was known for, the service now both in store (not salesman) and via where ever every number routes the calls is horrific at best. Zack

    The cooktop is working great. It was easy and convenient. They came and took out the old one. And hooked it up.

    The installers provided by Best Buy were outstanding. The duo were very respectful and provided outstanding and courteous service. They cleaned the work area before they left.

    I love this stove top. Very easy to clean and looks good in the kitchen. Install went off without a hitch. The installers showed me how to operate it after set-up and I have had no issues. Happy about the upgrade after 23 years.

    Note this is a Best Buy review and not a product review. Item not even installed because it’s not really an install in my opinion it’s basically a “plug and go” situation. I had to have a separate company come in to connect the yellow gas tube/connector bc they said they couldn’t (it was VERY clear) and a small portion of vent had to be connected to the vent opening in the floor. You can connect on either side of the downdraft for the cooktop but I guess they weren’t aware. Only took the separate company I hired to come in about 5 minutes to figure that out! Long story short Best Buy is like oh no big deal you can easily change delivery dates no problems we do it all the time. All of my items showed in stock ready to deliver. They bumped my delivery date back almost two weeks due to renovations. I was rescheduled for October 25th and lovely Best Buy decided hey let’s give away her dishwasher and cancel her ENTIRE delivery of SEVEN Cafe appliances and better yet let’s not even contact her to let her know about. Or as a matter of fact it sounds even more fun to tell her when she calls in that yes all is in order for her delivery on October 25th and just not show up! Making it even better when I reached out to my sales consultant two days prior to delivery date he told me he was TOO BUSY to call me. Guess spending $15k + on appliances alone doesn’t mean much to Best Buy. When I said that’s OK just have someone call me crickets no help at all. When I did finally speak to someone from the corporate office on October 24th they told me the dishwasher would be back in stock October 31st but they couldn’t schedule me until November 16th due to other deliveries already booked. Finally they decided to squeeze me in on November 9th as a favor. Wanting to cancel the order the corporate employee gave me her email address to reach back out via email, two email attempts and she still has not responded or called me. Anytime I call the corporate phone number I get the general call center. I get the pleasure of speaking to a hardheaded person that I can’t even understand who is insistent on trying to help with the order even though I tell them I was advised by corporate to not let anyone but them touch the order. After being promised return calls here I sit and no one has called yet. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE SERVICE. NO ONE CAN BE THIS BAD WITHOUT ACTUALLY TRYING TO BE!!!!!!

    The actual installation and the installer were great -- BUT -- we ordered the unit in mid December with an instalation date of January 7th. On Jan 6th I had to call to confirm the install and was told it would not be till Jan 14th. I was told they had a mix up. I pushed for a sooner date, and booked Jan 12th. On Jan 11th we got an email stating the install would be on Jan 13th. I called and asked why again they were not making their scheduled date, and they told me an installer was not available. I was told I would be called back that day to finalize the time on the 13th -- but no one called back. Finally on Jan 13th, first thing in the morning, the installer called giving us a window for that day, and he did arrive and install the unit. I was very disappointed in both the lack of Best Buy making their own commitments, and changing the scheduled date on the day before rather than some decent notice. I was unhappy with their scheduling and follow through.
