Bought an LG steam dryer from Best Buy and paid to have it installed. Although I asked to have the door reverse to right-hinged, they failed to do it. Then I realized that they never connected the steam dryer to a water source. In multiple calls to Best Buy, I was first told that the steam dryer didn’t require water (wrong) and then that I had to purchase the water connection kit separately (clearly wrong). I pointed out to Best Buy that the owners manual for the dryer states that the kit is included with this $1,000 dryer but they insisted it’s not. I called LG and they confirmed the kit is included but Best Buy still refused. I just gave up and bought the kit. Will never buy another appliance from Best Buy.

I bought a washer and dryer together. It was the same crew that installed both which is a true synergy of efficiency. I would definitely recommend this method of using the same installers. Just like having too many cooks in a kitchen, you can have way too many installers in a laundry. Trust me you don't want people banging into each other while trying do move heavy appliances. Talk about dangerous!!!

Such a smart idea to have the installation work done by Best Buy. The workers actually know what they are doing!

Total run-around. It took 4 visits and a replacement of the dryer (which I'm not sure was even the issue) to get it to work properly. First install attempt wouldn't do the work because they said our water valves to the wall were leaking. $200 and 3 days later to a plumber I had to hire, other guys came back. Installed. Then the water leaks on the floor from the line to the washer. 3rd day, guys tell me that I'm completely missing a steam drying hose to the dryer -- so while they argue with their dispatch, I drive to Best Buy and get the last one on the shelf while the guys wait at the house. Again, the unit won't function. 4th set of guys (on the 4th visit over a week and a half) completely scoff at the work done by 3 other teams, replace everything, including the dryer itself, and attach 1/2 inch gas line in place of the originally sent 1/4 inch line. Finally, it works. Next time, I'll order the unit and hire my own installer.

Good prior notification. Nice professional install. Maybe could have switched the door swing for me but no big deal. Easy to do yourself.

Install was great! They quickly took out the broken dryer Best Buy gave me then they setup the new one very quick and easy.

I purchased this tool as part of the installation package for my new dryer. It is used to hook up the gas. Works well.

Dryer install service was a great idea. Everything worked great and it was well worth the price.

Install was quick but they had to trouble shoot a couple times because they forgot to turn on the gas. Was a little concerned when my clothes came out damp. Had to do a couple loads before finding out we had to uncheck the energy saving mode.

Guys did a very good job and were quick and thorough.

Again, the installation people were friendly, that is why they are getting three star instead of one. However, they took with them that I needed for all the dryers features to be used. (The dryer has a steam feature.) They took the "Y" connector and the water hose with them. Now I have to buy them separately.

Love the dryer. Wasn’t happy with the first delivery people. They used a type of duck tape to connect the two pieces of cut vent to and elbow adapter. Took multiple phone calls to get another appointment for someone to come back out to fix the horrible first job.

Installation paid for (3rd party via Best Buy), arrived date/time specified. removed old Samsung 1 yr old quit working, installed new Whirlpool Gas Dryer-replaced dryer hose, with NEW Dryer Rigid Kit, didnt install so wouldnt fall off-it did. Paid for the Yellow Gas line - didnt get it. They didnt install this-never saw it. They used my old silver gas line. When they pushed the dryer back and ran a cycle to check, told me let it run for a while 20-30 min to cear out smell from being new. They kinked the gas line (i had to unkink). When i found out they never used the (paid for) yellow gas line - and the new Rigid Hose kit fell off the dryer. Had to put it back on and make sure it wouldnt come off. Dryer also wasnt level. it rocked badly. I put a rug under the front legs which fixed this problem.

The installation service offered from Best Buy for the new unit was great. The team reached out to me before delivery, and arrived right on time. They took care not to damage my home and helped me with requests. They moved my old unit to the garage where I wanted it, again taking care not to damage my home. Great service.
