Call a profession plumber who would arrive on site with adequate supplies to complete an installation. Best Buy arrives with no supplies to compete the installation. They show up expecting a "plug and play" environment, which would perfectly, I guess, work for them in a newly build home. However, older homes don't comply with new equipment requirements for hook up, and as such they don't know what to do and leave.

I would recommend them, but make sure they have the right part numbers for a washer and dryers because I had a dilemma because of the wrong part

Dryer not hooked up on the first appointment, the installer said that the dryer duct needed to be corrected and to call a handyman to correct the issue and then reschedule installation. Took another week to finally get the washer and dryer installed. The total time was 2 weeks from time of purchase. Another issue was the installers put the task as completed, so in order to schedule another installation a manager had to be involved. What a big mess.

This delivery and installation was the worst I have ever had. The first dryer appeared to have been previously intstalled. The side vent cover was removed before it was in my house. The first dryer also didn't work and had to be removed. The second installation was horrible. The gas line had a kink. The flexible dryer vent was flattened aslmost completely closed. I had to reinstall it myself. What a waste of money.

This was a complete waste of money as they only partially installed anything. I payed for bothy a washer and dryer install and neither fully happened. Do yourself a favor and do it yourself or pay for someone else’s service I would not recommend BestBuy install anything.

Only a few months old dryer and it had vent problems...considering Best Buy installed it (a service that costs extra), you'd think they would guarantee their work. Manufacturer says don't use foil vent ...they did. It busted. HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND BEST BUY INSTALLATION SERVICE. You're better off a local appliance installation that guarantees their work.

First crew that came & delivered my dryer told me that they couldn't install my dryer. They said that they didn't have a adapter for the connection. But I bought installation kit. They said that it didn't come with adapter. They said to call builders to get adapter which I did just for them to tell me there is no adapter needed. Called geek squad and they told me that they had me, on their system, that my dryer was installed. I had to explain what happened & they sent another team. Had to wait 3 weeks to get my dryer installed.

Our installer said best buy required us to purchase the wrong vent kit but that they'd install it if we purchase the correct one. The best buy sales rep told us to the contrary.

My experience with this was absolutely awful. They came 5 times, sometimes to the wrong address and wouldn’t come to the correct address on the same day since it wasn’t on the manifest. There was something wrong each time. The gas fitting, the truck couldn’t fit down the street, they were missing a piece, etc. It was a nightmare, I almost returned everything.

The gas dryer was not install at the right place .Everytkme the door open it hits the wall.☹️

The dryer was delivered but installed incorrectly. Tried using the dryer after the delivery men left and my whole house turned into a sauna. They did not install the hose correctly. Very disappointed in the service of our delivery. The man didn’t have me sign anything acknowledging my delivery either. I have no receipt like I did from the first delivery.

installation was unacceptable. They failed 4 times to properly hook up. Customer service lied to me and could not solve the problem.

The Best Buy delivery truck could not get under a neighbor's PG&E line, so we off-loaded the machine into our own truck and my husband will do the installation. We are still waiting for the propane conversion kit and proper size gas line. Our gas line in the laundry room wall is 3/4" and that was the size they gave us, but the dryer end is 3/8"!! We did not know that until the box was opened. We are waiting for the proper installation parts to arrive from an online Amazon order before we can complete the installation ourselves.

The delivery was on time and that was the end of the service. The installer said the gas valve was not acceptable, then he said he could not install a new dryer on an old base. It just seemed to me to be one excuse after another. Then because I was using the base for the new dryer he would not remove the base for me so he could dispose of the old appliance. Basically useless! By the way he dropped the new dryer off in my driveway and left. I am 70 and was able by myself to install the new dryer on the old base. Done and Done...

Delivery guys were nice enough, but didn't realize they were contracted to do a dryer door flip (almost left until I told them about it). Then, spent 45 minutes trying to flip it, couldn't get it right and "called someone to help". As they rushed out the door, they assured me that someone would be coming back within the hour to fix it. Here I am 4 days later, and still nobody has come.

The guy ask for additional 150 for the coupling, although negotiated to 100. Although I can install it, the urgency of the moment will force you to comply. Best buy should do something to prevent this, you paid for install and then you pay again. I feel scammed.

It never happened. Unfortunately the gentleman who showed up didn't seem to know how to install a gas dryer. They also had a hard time communicating what was going on. They just left the dryer in the job and done. So when I got back in town. I ended up having to do it myself.

It was a nightmare dealing with Best Buys took this company 3 attempts, to install the washer and dryer.....really incompetent installers.I had to call 10 different time to beg for a new delivery schedule......really close to none costumer service.....a total disaster, never again with BEST BUYS...ended up being the WORST BUY EVER....the delivery- intallers didn't even have a clamp for the dryer exhaust.....incompetent service.

The installers arrived 1.5hrs later than the specified delivery window. When they finally showed up they didn’t want to install the dryer even though installation was paid for - they said they didn’t have time. After watching a single mother start to do it herself they finally felt bad and said they’ll do it. We also paid for them to remove the old dryer and they tried to get out of doing that as well. Unbelievable!

Would not switch the direction that the door swings from washer.
