I can't believe I had to pay $20 for installation, when they left the dryer on but with no heat. I signed up for this so that I wouldn't have to worry about any aspect of the installation process. They showed me that it was on and "working" and told me to let it run through a cycle. Then they left. After I put the first load in, it was still damp after a full cycle. I had to call in a friend to check on what they thought was wrong, because I certainly wasn't going to have to deal with the installers or waiting for Best Buy to fix it. Come to find out, they didn't turn on the gas! Is that not the cornerstone of installation? Annoyed. If install were free, not an issue, but paying $20 for incompetence is frustrating.

Installation company told us we had to have a new gas line put in because it didn't match the input size for the dryer. This is all despite the installation hardware that was required for purchase with ther services stated they had various size gas lines to meet everyone's needs. The services company told us they would come back and connect the dryer when we had the gas line replaced. We called a local company to come out and look. That company was at the house 10 minutes in total. They put an adapter on, connected the dryer and left. Go local, with skilled technicians!

This was a mixed good and bad experience. The first team that came was able to install the washer and they did a great job. There weren't able to install the dryer due to the gas fitting needing to be replaced and they couldn't remove the old one. The second team came to install the dryer, after getting the new fitting installed by a plumber. They attached the gas line just fine, with no issues, but they did a sloppy job on the dryer exhaust. They just slapped it on loosely, no clamps were used. It leaked like crazy, so I had to pull the dryer out and re-install the exhaust hose to the dryer using the clamps that the installers didn't use.

Guys came in a timely fashion and made the installation and easy process. Would definitely recommend it.

I live in a condo where the washer/dryer are inside a small closet. I would not have been able to do the installation on my own without a lot of blood, sweat, and tears so having Best Buy do it for me was a great decision. They were very professional and had the new units installed quickly with no problems. These guys knew what they were doing for sure!

You only need them once so no biggie. Not a tool you’ll use for anything other than one application.

The crew was effecient , knowlegable, and friendly. They installed both washer and dryer in half an hour. The called ahead and arrived on time. Install was painless.

Zero star , it was a bad experience, I bought a whirlpool dryer the guy comes in to install it after all the dryer have an electric problem it doesn’t work okay till now it’s fine , I go and buy another one a samsung one like I always do of course samsung is the best , and I waited almost 40 days to get a broke dryer next morning two guys come in with the new dryer they take it down after scratching my brand new walls , the guy tell me I can’t install the dryer you gas line is bigger you need an adapter to make it fit so they left , I call a third party company to send someone for installation and I paid $400 to get them fast in one hour I had someone coming in and install it right away he said most of the new dryers come with all the adapters he opens the boxes and we found the adapter and everything was easy and simple oh one more thing I forgot to mention when the guy came we find out that they left half of he gas thing open so smell of gas was all over the house without me feeling it I had a little baby we were scared of her chocking that all what happens when you get bestbuy installation people not professional at all the first guy was guy he did his job but the dryer didn’t work but the second guy was so bad leaving gas open and didn’t install the dryer.

The guys that came out to help set up were on time and very polite but I didn't like the price I had to pay for it

The two Installers were professionals and did a great job removing my old washer/dryer and installing the new ones. However, they did not wear booties over their shoes and did not clean up the mess left after removing the old washer/dryer (spilled water on carpet & hard wood floors, dust bunnies).

The installation was a good decision the guys were great

I have had horrible experiences with Best Buy delivery/installation services. This time was not much different. They weren't able to finish the installation so I had to have a family member come do it. There is always some liability issue that comes up that stops them from finishing the job.
