Installation went very smoothly. The installer was very professional and came during the time quoted. Very pleased with the service.

The install never took place. Despite spending more than an hour on the phone Monday 1/16/23 with customer support to reschedule the gay dryer install (the install date was set for Saturday 1/21/23.), I received a call from the logistics provider who was en route to pick up the dryer asking me to disconnect the old gas dryer. Since that involves disconnecting from the gas line, I did not feel comfortable. I then spoke with dispatch who said that I’d be receiving another call from Best Buy, but I never got a call back. The service was so poor that I ended up canceling the gas dryer purchase and install. Best Buy at this time does not seem capable of coordinating the effort from sticking to a date, to disconnecting and removing, to install the new product.

The repair person they sent was the most professional person that I have ever met. He did any and everything that I asked him to do.

The license professional that came out to install my dryer were very professional.

New gas line in house better to use a service to ensure it's done right meaning SAFE.

The guys got the washer and dryer set up just fine. Problem was they scraped and gouged some walls while bringing them to the laundry room.

You really don't want this review and I'm sure it'll never be published! After waiting over 2 months for someone to show up to install our new LG dryer (licensed professional - what a joke). The folks called 2 hours after they were supposed to show -called at 8pm and were 'surprised' to find that the dryer needed to be converted from natural gas to LP, and next didn't have the materials to do the conversion, were NOT 'Licensed', didn't even know what that meant and said even if they COULD do the conversion (with the proper parts) if would be at least 2 hours, then could start the actual installation. We would have been looking at finish about midnight. Best Buy just gets away with this and has no compunction to rectify anything - the store Management LITERALLY hides in the back of the store if you go in to confront them.

I do NOT recommend buying appliances from Best Buy, if you plan on having them do the installation. Third party installers are used for this purpose. Not so with TV's where they have their own, highly qualified, professional and respectful members of their Geek Squad do the installation. The third party installers had me pay and extra $90 for a new gas line fitting, on a new home! We made the check out to the third party company. We spoke to Best Buy about this and they were surprised as they were unaware of this taking place. They said they would escalate this and get back to me but I never heard a word. Still leaves a bitter taste in my mouth so much that I will not purchase appliances from Best Buy in the future.

I ended up having to pay extra because they recommended to use a different valve than the one that I had.

The installation of the gas dryer met our expectations; the installers were clearly experienced and very professional.

Two came and told me to get a connecting cord that was not even available.

The actual installation, once completed went very well. This review is about customer service. I don't know where the blame lies but getting a date for the installation was a disaster! I am uncertain who to blame but I have a good idea. What I do know is as a Total Tech member, a service for which I pay a significant annual fee, the time I spent on the phone, being transferred to numerous "other operators at Best Buy", spending HOURS on numerous phone calls, being told I would receive return phone calls which never materialized, having multiple delivery dates cancelled the day of the pre-scheduled delivery date, and other horrific customer service I feel that Best Buy was the wrong store with which to conduct business.

The installers did a neat quick job. Came and were ready to get started
