Did not install it properly, giving excuses for missing pieces which I already bought. No I have the dryer unplugged and the extra pieces laying around!

I had informed at best buy that my old dryer is across the wall from the washer and i need to put the new dryer next to washer . For that the venting has to be extended. I was given assurance that it would be done but when the guy came for installation. He straight up said he had no idea about this and he can’t do it . Also he could not connect my steam connection for the dryer. Also I did not like his attitude as he was not at all helpful .

The installer was fine. Best Buy screwed up the installation multiple times. I took the day off from work only to find out that they did not actually schedule the installation. Then the dryer stopped working and it took them a month and a half for them to send the right person to replace it. Again they set up two appointments that never came. We ordered it Labor Day weekend and did not get a working dryer until the beginning of December. Never will get an appliance from them again.

I got this machine for the space it saves. Just love it.

The tech did not ask if we wanted the dryer door to open toward the washer as a result we have to use the drop down opening which does not open as fully, the side open option has the door open away from the washer. I didn't realize it until after he was gone.

I bought the option for Best Buy to install my new LG dryer. The install was done by one of Best Buy's partners in the Carson City, NV area because Best Buy does not have techs licensed in dryer installations. Best Buy does not provide their partners with the proper hoses to install dryers in many situations like mine. The installers refused to install the dryer until I went out to the local hardware store and bought the hose they needed. Evidently, Best Buy only provides 3/8" hoses and my installation, like many others, required 1/2". The installers said that it's a common problem with Best Buy and they had no idea why Best Buy refused to provide the proper hoses - as every other store does. So, bottom line, don't risk having Best Buy install your gas dryer - at least not if you're in the Carson City area.

Due to vehicle issues (at least that is what was claimed) the installers showed up six hours late. While they were professional, they did not leave all of the required paperwork. I also paid for a permit, but have not received any notification of the filling or inspection.
