And they refused to do so even though they were to do it for it was to be free installation with my purchase of my washer and dryer. I ended up paying paying a handy man over a $100 bucks to install my dryer and washer that was to be delivered and installed for free. I was not happy with this .and they had messed up on my delivery in the first place so to pay for something that was to be free made me more that just annoyed ,If they were licensed professionals then and did this to me (or should I say what they did not do for me). I do not whay any part of them any more.

Unprofessional Installation services

Despite being having total tech membership and paid for all the accessories required for the installation, they charged me $160.00 for a pipe extension and water valve replacement. Upon asking receipt, they mentioned that you will get in 24 hours which till date I did not get it even after multiple follow ups. Extremely unhappy with the installation services. Will not recommend to use.

His excuse was that my laundry room is too small. REALLY? My laundry room measures 15' X 12'. How many washer and dryers are stacked in a closet!!! If the installer did not want to do his job; he should have just said so. He had the nerve to suggest that I call my regular plumber and have him to do it! Unfortunately, that is what I had to do.

You have not installed my dryer yet!

You scheduled a new appointment which the installer cancelled bc the task order was wrong. I spend three hours on hold the here “sorry... you need to go to the store to reschedule”. So I go to the store and ask “will you set up a time to install?” But they can’t bc they need to email “the warehouse” to have them delete something so the store can reschedule. But they’ll call to schedule, except the don’t.... so it’s been a month since my dryer was delivered and I’m still using a clothes line to dry my clothes. My patience is out....SEND AN INSTALLER TO INSTALL MY DRYER!!!!

Luckily my husband is a builder so he was able to figure out the problem. We pulled the dryer away from the wall and flipped the switch and now the dryer works fine. Really disappointed that such an essential element of the dryer installation was overlooked.

The work was find but the contract installation firm hired by Best Buy held us up for ransom for a very large hookup fee which had not been disclosed by Best Buy.

Incredibly lazy and shabby gas dryer installer.

He did not eve bother to cut the hose to the outside and wanted to leave everything rolled in the back of the dryer. It was the shabbiest installation I have ever seen. while doing this bad installation he dropped his tool on my washer and made a big scratch on it. Then he said that the dryer was heating and left. Well, there was NO heat.. It was not working. Service men like that installer working for you, are really bad for your business. Shame on him and on you for sending to your customers someone as bad as him.

Bad delivery and install experience

He got really mad and went storming out when I said that he hadn't done the install I paid for. He and his helper banged against the walls several times, and did not have an appliance dolly for normal stairs wide enough for one to the basement. When he left he had the old dryer vent propped up against the dryer vent and smashed against the wall to keep it there. I will never be buying any appliances from Best Buy in the future.

Our order was messed up from the beginning, and when we went to talk to the manager, up to the manager, Alex, there was absolutely no responsibility taken or corrective actions provided in order to ensure that we were still happy. I would not recommend buying from the Best Buy outlet store in Lynwood to anyone. To be clear, what we bought was fantastic, and the installers were great. The mistake was made at the store, and not corrected at the store.

Wrong hook up

Installer was not prepared with a slightly longer pipe. Dryer was hooked up to old vent pipes. We replaced them ourselves after dryer was installed.

Bad service

They kept canceling my order even with customer service on the line with me. Then, they delivered a dryer that didn't work. Then, when my next dryer was supposed to be delivered and Installed, I got a call from the installer that it wasn't in the warehouse. After hours on the phone and with a manager, he said he would check and call me back. He did not call. I called the next day and was told all managers were in a meeting. I finally canceled my order. This was 6 weeks of mess up. I went to Lowes and got one.

poor service

I made it perfectly clear it needed to be converted from gas to propane, I called 3 times before delivery to make sure this was understood. The dryer was delivered but they had no conversion kit and no one to install, I waited over a month for this to be delivered and the dryer has 3 small dents in the back, I am very unhappy with the lack of service ( and knowledge) associated with this whole process

Unable to install

I explained my gas setup @ the house & sales said it would be no trouble to install a gas dryer. Installers said they could not install BECAUSE install gas dryer only really meant attaching the gas line to a dedicated outlet which needed to already be present . They could not do any other work as represented by the sales dept. Contractor estimated minimum of $700 to install a dedicated gas line. They exchanged my gas dryer for an electric dryer which installed easily BUT I was w/o a washer & dryer for > 2wks because the first installers would not install just the washer because they said they had to do both together

Second team did not have booties to cover their shoes when asked about it. They refused to install stating they do not want to pay for any dirt or damage from uncovered shoes. So, if I did not ask, it was ok! The new team which came 2 weeks later, was phenomenal. They offered to install the valve for free, they had the valve with them. Why did I spend time and money to get a plumber for 100-150$!
