Item was needed to operate the Gas Dryer. So, all functions can work promptly.

Bought a set of washer and dryer. 1. Day of install - guy says he can’t open gas line plug 2. Second appt - no show. Waste of half work day 3. 3rd appt - no calls, I call 5 times - every time get told 20-40mins. 8-10am turned to 4:30pm after escalation to supervisor. Attached dryer but didn’t bring steam kit so I had to call and schedule again. Waste of full work day. Plus I sat at an empty home without lunch all day - waiting. 4. 4th appt - installer asks me if I have steam kit when order specifically included a steam kit and install. Finally finds one in the truck, but it fails. 5. Still no steam kit hooked up on a steam dryer. I have to call again, schedule. 6. I can’t believe this is happening in this day and age!!! The cost of appliances doubled for me after considering my wasted time. And I still don’t have a fully functional dryer.

I was having a new dryer delivered and installed. However when the men showed up, they informed me that the gas shut-off valve on the wall was not a valve they could work with. They said I would have to call a plumber ($175) and get it changed before they would install the dryer. They left the dryer and said to contact Best Buy when I was ready. I contacted a plumber who was willing to come the next day to fix the problem, but Best Buy couldn't get someone to install the dryer for at least 5 days (I had been without a dryer already for a week). I ended up going to a hardware store and getting some gas pipe sealant and hooking up the machine myself. Best Buy should give the appliance sales people a picture list of approved valves that their installers will handle, so that I could have had this problem solved before they showed up.

They came to drop off out washer and dryer and I payed corn installation with parts, and they didn’t do it... they didn’t even bring the parts ! Horrible service
