The installation person, ran the gas dryer for a few seconds and declared it was working. Later in the day I found out that the gas connection to the home was shut off at the main. We hadn't moved into the new home yet so we didnt know that the gas wasnt on. The gas vent pipe was pinched by a fold leaving almost no room for steam to escape. It should be left in a way that heat and steam is allowed to escape. The dryer wasn't drying clothes completely and I had to troubleshoot it online and move the dryer forward myself. The installer probably just ignored this in the interest of getting out of the hassle of figureing out a proper solution or just in case I may have wanted to change my mind.

They dropped off the dryer but did not install it, They tech that delivered the dryer looked at the gas connection and said that it was old then left, I replaced that valve about 2 years prior, it was not old. I got a felling that he had too many deliveries that day and did not want to take the time needed to install the dryer, I installed it and it only took about 1 hr. With the experience they have the install would have taken half the time. - This whole experience from buying the system in November ( it was back ordered then Best Buy cancelled the order) to when it was installed in February was a handled poorly by Best Buy and Pacific Sales.

Our Laundry room is upstairs. It was definitely worth it having Best Buy install the appliances.
