Terrible installation experience
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased a new gas dryer and in order to have Best Buy install the unit we had to purchase their semi-rigid dryer vent kit. The installers did not have the proper tools to adapt this new vent kit so the dryer could be pushed closer to the wall. My new dryer now sits 12 inches away from the wall, whereas the former unit was only 4 inches from the wall. The installation was only $15, so I guess the old saying "You get what you pay for" is true. This is the second survey I have completed for Best Buy regarding this matter, so I'll assume the first fell on deaf ears. These will be the last appliances we will purchase from Best Buy as the decision was made based on a lower installation cost. Washer/Dryer costs were similar at other big-box and appliance stores.

Gas Dryer Installation Went Not So Well

I would recommend checking the dryer once before the team takes off next time.
