I paid extra to have my dryer installed properly and today I find the dryer vent hose disconnected from the dryer. What I am most unhappy about is the amount of tape they used. Only enough to go half way around the hose and dryer connection. Now I have to go out and purchase additional tape. I find this negligent and unacceptable, I expected the install to be done properly. After all it was an additional service which I paid for and expected to receive.

The dryer was brought into the house but was never installed. They left it on the ledge hanging halfway off and didn’t connect anything. Didn’t even I tape the plug from the back and plug it in. I had to have someone else do it for me and it cost me more! I know who not to pay for install from anymore. I tried to leave no stars but it makes you give at least one >:-|

How do you mix up the hot cold water line? Due to their error, our clothes changed colors.

I scheduled for a set day and the installers never arrived and never sent any communication saying they would miss the appointment. When I called the next day it turns out that no one had even gone to the location to pick up the dryer. I now have to take off a 2nd day of work. I called the store expecting some type of compensation for my missed work. Was told a manager would call me back and they never did.

Not worth your time. Installers were new and un trained. They did not bring the correct fittings with them when they arrived even though I bought the specidlfied connection kit at the time of sale. Had to schedule a second appointment for qualified installers to come to the site to complete the installation.

My wife informed me that the installer was extremely unprofessional and was making unwanted advances towards her making her extremely uncomfortable in our own home while I was flying back from a work trip. This man needs to be coached, written up and or terminated as this most likely isn't a isolated issue and has no place in this kind of setting. Take your job seriously and tbis review seriously.

it took a week and 4 visits yo install the dryer. the first guy deliberately hid the damaged dryer and it took 3 more visits to install the dryer and washer due to support not entering correct installation instructions. Not a good way to deal with a basic washer n dryer installation

Sent with improper tools. Two crews would not / could not complete the dryer installation. Did a great job getting my dryer into the house - no scratches. Obviously not trained to work with gas appliances. Told me gas line connection was corroded- it was not. You’d be ok with an electric dryer.

The workers hooked up but did not bring up to level with the washer. Something they should always do or, at least, ask.

BEST BUY CUSTOMER SERVICE FAIL. Despite being VERY clear I had propane, customer service schedule me for GAS dryer install.

it took three tries to install and months of waiting. wrong kits brought to site

The installation crew does not know what they are doing. Kept saying missing parts when the parts are on the table, then they stole and left with the parts. Left with everything unconnected like it was. Later leanred to install myself. Best Buy better find some better crews. I would have given 0 stars.

I had it on the order to swap the door to other side. The delivery men would not do it becuase they said it wasn't i order and i had to pay for it. It was in my order and they still insisted not to do it. I had to pay a handyman to switch it for me.

Only because zero is not an option! They refused to install the dryer because the vent line wasn’t previously installed but some contractor? In this housing development all dryet ducts are free standing because no immediate access to an outside wall- they wouldn’t let me install it but were willing to drop it off in my driveway!!!

I had a terrible experience with Bestbuy, I had purchased gas dryer and paid extra installation fee, they came onsite to install Gas Dryer, after they left, I smelled the leak, I called them, they claimed they do not have emergency service, and I had to call southwest gas to come onsite to re-do installation, what a waste of installation money, plus it is really dangerous if they did not even check the leak for installing gas dryer.

The first installation was poorly done. The vent got loosen after two uses. The second re-installation came a week later and replaced the vent with semi rigid type. Due to limited space, the semi rigid vent cannot leave enough clearance for the laundry room door to close. The technician just left and asked me to buy a new one and replace the vent myself. This is very unprofessional.

Terrible company that did a terrible job with my install. Had to call them back because the dryer vent only stayed attached to the unit for a couple of months, and then after Tim supposedly fixed things, it lasted another week. Since they are clearly incompetent, I fixed it myself, and hopefully it will stay in place. AVOID THIS COMPANY!! (Massachusetts)

The first time they came, The wrong hose was installed in the back of the dryer and they did not notice or even changed it, The second time they came they asked me if I had this detergent to see if there was a leak in the gas because the dryer wouldn’t stay heated. They should have solution in their van as part of the installation. I shouldn’t have to supply them with them.

Nothing spectacular about the install. I think I could have done a better job, but at least I didn't have to haul it inside the house.
