The installation was fine, the issue I had was the price. They said it’d be $20 or $30 which sounded great, I could save my dads knees but it ended up being $300 or so. Had I known they’d add all this extra stuff on I’d have had my dad do it for free.

While I did some prep work to clear a path to the dryer location, the two men who did the removal of the old and installation of the new, were great. I blinked and the old one was gone. Blinked again, and the new one was there. Both moves included, what I considered difficult outdoor steps into the basement, but you never would have known. Everything else went great. Thank you, guys.

Left it uninstalled because the gas outlet and the hose attachment were not the same size. Did not tell me how to remedy the situation. Should have had options of different hose sizes with adapters on hand.

The installation of my dryer was top notch. During the Covid crisis Best Buy was the only company that was doing installations. the 2 guys that came were abiding by the CDC regulations wearing face masks gloves and practicing social distancing. I don't know what we were going to do since our dryer died and we need a new one. Thank god for Best Buy.

This items was delivered and installed incorrectly. There was a gas smell. We called local gas company and they confirmed gas leak. They shut the valve and ask us to call the installer ASAP. We called the geek squad and the scheduled a re-install. We got confirmation date/time frame on the phone by text. We waited all day and after 4 hrs delay called the BestBuy again and they said there was no appointment. We have all the email and text confirmations. We had to call local appliance business and they re-installed the item. It took 3 weeks total for before we could use the dryer.

The installation of our new gas dryer (including a dryer door reversal) was terrible, took 4 visits, and ended up costing us more money in the end. Visit #1 - Best Buy (BB) 3rd party delivery people showed up to deliver and install our new gas dryer. The dryer connection kit that BB sold to us did not fit our gas pipe (which was too big) and the delivery people refused to even touch the gas line to try to resolve the problem. They suggested that we could either go purchase a larger connection (and retum the one BB sold us), or call a plumber. Visit #2 - we purchased a larger connection and scheduled BB installers to return to finish the installation etc a few days later. When they arrived, the new connection we purchased also didnt fit, and the BB installers again refused to try to resolve the problem and left. So, we called a plumber, and $180 later, we finally had the right connection set up for the installers to finish the install, and scheduled BB to return a few days later. Visit #3 - the BB installers showed up and installed the dryer, but refused to do the door reversal, stating that enough time was not scheduled for them to do that. The door reversal had been on every order and install schedule since the beginning. I even called BB beforehand to make sure it was still on the order. So, we had to schedule BB for another visit to reverse rhe door (i.e. Visit # 4) which they did a few days later. So, 4 visits, it cost us $180 more, and 4 days of taking time off of work. VERY UNHAPPY.

The service technician was not able to change my appliance out. The valve had surface rust and he said they do not work on rusty valves.

The guys installing were knowledgable. True, I could have connected it myself, but why not have the piece of mind that there isn't going to be gas leaked while my family is sleeping? Besides, why waste an hour rigging up an exhaust kit only to have to tie it down and seal it off with half a roll of duct tape

The guys that delivered and installed were professional. They were friendly and did a clean job.

Happy with product, but the installers should have recommended that the dryer door be reversed.
