I paid to have my gas dryer delivered and installed and the old one taken away. They came, carted out the old one, brought in the new one then after about five minutes, they told me that they had the dryer hooked up and running but they could not hook up the gas to it because there was a fitting on the end of my gas line that they could not remove and I'd have to have a plumber come out and do it. I asked what they were taking about and they proceeded to show me a lug nut of some sort that was left on my old gas line. I asked why they didn't just take it off and they said that they didn't have the tools to remove it ... didn't have a wrench that would work. They told me to call a plumber, have him remove it, then call them to come back out and install the gas line. Now I'd waited nearly two weeks for them to come to install the dryer already. Why on earth would I have a plumber come out, remove a nut, NOT install the dryer line, wait another two weeks with no dryer just so they could come back out?? They left. I was NOT happy! Called a plumber, cost another $90. The man literally was here less than a minute before he had the lug nut off, took about two turns of a pipe wrench. He said, "Do you want me to go ahead and hook up the gas line to the dryer?" and I said, "Well, yeah, as long as you're here." That took maybe another 2-3 minutes and he was done and gone. I don't know what the deal was with Best Buy's installation guys but you'd think that two men who came to install a gas dryer would have a pipe wrench handy. And to top it off, they told me, "This happens a lot in older houses." If it happens a lot in older houses, you'd think they'd carry the tools to handle it. There are a lot of us who use dryers and live in older houses. Bad form, Best Buy. Bad form.

I'm very picky about how wired and hosts, etc... are run. I believe they should be routed in such a way they look like they belong. The people who installed it just hooked it up and placed the hoses behind the dryer with no rhyme or reason.

I would not have Best Buy do the installation. They have no Customer Service

The installers were friendly, arrived on time, did an excellent job installing our new appliances and gave a through introductory overview.

The delivery guys were good guys and they explained everything and answered all my questions. Unfortunately my gas line wasn't up to code and they couldn't install the dryer. Still trying to get my refund for the installation.

Professional, friendly, and quick service. Got everything setup and got the old dryer hulled away.

install took two appointments. At first appointment discovered we needed longer fixed gas line to allow for maximum of 4 foot flexible gas line. Found a plumber to do this within a short time. Then at second appointment all went well. No problem scheduling appointments at convenient times.

After using the dryer for a couple of months, I noticed the dryer had an awful lot of lint on top. I had not seen this with my previous dryer. The dryer is inside a cabinet with several inches of space on each side; so I did not have a good view of the hose from the dryer’s vent. Today a contractor pulled the dryer out, and it appears that the vent hose was not connected to the dryer at the back, All of the lint was behind the dryer and no lint was in the hose. At installation, the installer should have made sure the vent hose was attached properly.

Best washer and dryer we ever had. Saves energy and reduces our bills, clothes does not shrink, has a sensor to make sire everything is dry without statics

The LG gas dryer was deliviered the day and time that was scheduled. The night before delivery I recieved a reminder call from Best Buy. On the morning of the delivery I was contacted by the delivery person to confirm when they would be coming

The young guys came out with no complaints they knew exactly what they were doing and got to work! I tipped them big for the extra education they provided.

The team did great job! they installed in my rental property. My tenant was happy as they were neat and quick. It would be nice if the driver could have read my instructions on calling my renter, than. calling me before the scheduled appointment.

On time and did what they were supposed to do. A rarity these days, huh?

Best Buy technicians were prompt, courteous, and professional. They called ahead and arrived on time. The two gentlemen worked as a team and since the machines were in the garage, they were in and out in less than 30 minutes. Nice and clean!

One of the pieces for the install was bulky and basically too big. The installer had to bend it a little to make it fit. They made sure it would work and so far, no problems with dryer. I probably will have to get a nook built so that it's not bent, but for now the installer did a great job.

The appliances are nice but the install was not. The guys were nice but didn't have the right hose to hook up the dryer. And the washer was ok after I fixed the plumbing. Basically I had to complete the installation for both appliances.
