    Installation was scheduled when I wanted. they were a little later than expected, but contacted me to let me know. Did a great job and were very helpful.

    Installers came in and did their job professionally with every precaution made to ensure things were clean and contact free for us. Installation was fast and everything works fine. Highly recommended.

    Ordered a new Samsung washer and dryer. Was told the dryer installation was through a 3rd party service and would be the following day after the initial delivery date. Wait from 8am-12pm. No call. No text message updates. No email. Call to confirm whats going on. Maybe they're busy or behind which I could understand. Talk to someone they say oh there is an error. We are not able to do this service in your area. Mind you had 2 different BestBuy employees confirm it was available. Ask to speak to a supervisor. Wait again on hold. Then the supervisor starts her questions and just ask her to confirm her name. She said "EL". Then proceeded to hang up. So just be weary if you're in the Buffalo area and take a half day off of work to have it installed. Very poor customer service, professionalism and lack of basic communication.

    Had a very bad experience with the dryer installation. The person that did the install did not properly connect the gas and it began to leak into the entire upstairs. Thankfully I was able to get in contact with someone Who knew what they were doing and they were able to correct the problem before anyone got hurt I will not trust and install from Best Buy ever again

    The guys that did this were very helpful & fast answer all my questions & told me that some of the things that we bought @ Best Buy to take them back because my dryer vent was better. That was 40 dollars we get back not everyone does that !!!!!!!!

    Let me begin by saying that this review refers to the crew who dropped off my washer and dryer in the garage, and not the second crew who actually completed the installation. The original crew arrived at my house 30 minutes past their delivery window. When I showed them where I wanted the washer and dryer installed, one of the guys looked at my gas line connection and told me that he couldn't install my dryer because I had a 1/2" fitting and they only carry 3/8" hoses, and that they only carry adaptors for gas lines with female fittings. I offered to run down to the Home Depot 2 blocks away from my house and buy the correct gas hose that I feel they should carry with them and they told me that they wouldn't be able to use that because it wasn't given to them by Best Buy. He told me that I had to call a plumber to replace the 1/2" gas shutoff valve with a 3/8" valve, and once I had that done, they would come back to finish the installation. It cost me $200 to have a plumber replace the gas shutoff valve for the "correct" one. Now fast forward to the 2nd crew. They showed up during their scheduled time window, and during casual conversation I told them what had happened before and what I had to do to make the delivery happen, and then he said "I saw a Home Depot down the street, why couldn't you get a hose with a 1/2" fitting on one end and a 3/8" fitting on the other? I bet they're no more that 20 0r 30 bucks". I told him what the prevous driver had said, and he said that is total BS and they just probably didn't want to do the installation. I felt like pulling my hair out. They then proceeded to install my washer and dryer in a courteous and professional manner. I will never buy another appliance from Best Buy, ever.....

    Cannot Recommend Best Buy for Appliance Installs

    The installation was not a good experience. It took three (3) separate installation visits to get it right. We have a fairly modern home (built in 2007) with a standard dryer vent setup. The install did require a periscope vent. First crew did not have a periscope vent on the truck and told me they did not know even what that was (odd). They hooked up the dryer so that it was usable and the dryer was about two feet from the back wall -- blocking a doorway and preventing a door from being opened/closed. I called the store very unsatisfied and they told me another crew would come out in several days. Another crew came out and one of the guys from the first crew was on the 2nd call. Equally ineffective and had no knowledge. I was told to "go to the hardware store" and figure it out myself. Unacceptable, as I had paid for a professional installation. This time, the dryer was left disconnected and unusable. Third service call, they sent a more knowledgeable installer who used a periscope vent and finally got it installed properly. This is not rocket science and I was SUPER-disappointed in the lack of knowledge, professionalism and customer service. I will hesitate on purchasing new appliances from Best Buy due to this awful installation experience.

    The installers were very polite and strong but had to ask my husband for certain tools to complete the installation and didn't change the door to open for my convenience in the laundry room.

    Delivery persons arrived on time with their masks on and proceeded to remove the damaged dryer. Before installing replacement dryer they changed the direction of the door opening.

    Our installers did a awesome job. The gas line wasn't quite right he fixed it no problem, no additional cost. The old dryer leaked lint terrible, he fixed that with the proper installation. Very efficient, in and out quickly, and properly.

    Came late, and didn't install the dryer door to the proper side. If you get a 4-hour window you hope they come in that 4 hours and no late. Delivery windows should be smaller (2hrs or less)

    The installation was quick and accurate. They were also very neat. I highly recommend best buy for appliances. I love the steam function on the dryer for sanitizing.

    The two gentleman who installed our dryer were very professional, Knew what they were doing, cleaned up their mess and showed us how to operate the new Insignia Dryer.
