Crew not prepared for any unusual condition. Left without hooking up the dryer due to missing gas line coupling. Very disappointed

The installation took three visits one was our fault one was the installer’s fault otherwise the dryer is working as expected and we are still learning how to operate it

The problem was with the salesperson, who didn't inform me that I would probably need an updated hookup. So, they had to come twice, and didn't remove the old one.

Initial installion date of July 3 2021. Wasn't installed until July 23. First attempt for installation was on July 3 where the installer called saying they were 15 mins away from the house so I waited and no door bell notification. Turns out the installer just waited in front of my door step rather than pressing the doorbell and left immediately. The next attempt was 9 2021 where the installer stated the door for the washer specifically wasn't closing despite me opening and closing it with no problem. They had to take the appliances back to the warehouse. The 3rd attempt July 16 where the installers claimed they couldn't install it in my washer&dryer room because the space was too tight and left it my kitchen for another week to wait for "special" installers. The 4th time on July 23 2021 the "special" installers used the exact same lifting strap the initial installers used to bring my washer and dryer up to fit it in the washer & dryer room and didn't even use special equipment! A nightmare of an experience.

The dryer was delivered with a dent they came back picked up the dented one and replaced the dryer the delivery guys were very friendly!!

purchased a gas dryer along with geek squad protection. installed dryer and it had a internal gas leak. made arangements for repair. took the day off from work because the repair men was coming between 7am and 1pm, never showed or called. returned dryer and purchased at charlotte appliance.

Once my washer and dryer were installed, I was washing and drying up a storm. I enjoyed them so much, I volunteered to wash my cousins 3 loads of clothes. I believe I got the best deal for my money.

Never hooked up the steam dryer or even left the stainless steel line for it. Dryer door opening direction was not switched. The vent hose was loose and fell off. There was a hole in the dryer vent hose. I basically removed everything they did and installed everything the proper way.

I was told by the delivery team, that the hose was too short to hook up to my gas line, and that Best Buy would send someone out to fix this issue. I explained at that time, that if it would not get installed- that I did not want the dryer, as the last BRAND NEW dryer I purchased from Best Buy, was still sitting in my basement- unable to use because of issues with my hook ups (no fault of Best Buy's). I was assured by the delivery team someone would be out to fix this issue, and they would let customer service know. By the time Customer service called me, the delivery team was LONG GONE, only to find out that I had to call a plumber out to fix the issue, as it was not that the hose was just too short. Customer service NEVER followed up on the issue, and now I have TWO dryers sitting in my basement that I can not use. -AND I was still charged for the installation...... WORST SERVICE EVER!

The installers did a phenomenal job bringing the dryer into my home. They were very courteous and efficient. They made sure to explain things to me if there was anything I was unsure about.

The installer guy was friendly. He asked me which side I wanted the door to open. He installed it tested it and let me see how well it heated up. Having it installed by them made it peaceful for me.

These fellows were very capable, friendly and had great advise. Real gentlemen. Thanks for choosing good folks.

The installation was on time, performed professionally and I have been very pleased with my purchases from Best Buy from the point of purchase and through to the completion of installation and use of product.

Unfortunately, the install kit that they force you to purchase is cheap and poor quality. The vent duct that attaches to the dryer is made of non flexible metal which is both sharp and short. If your dryer is further away from the vent it will not be able to extend. Also the clamps used to secure the duct to the dryer were not tightened enough which caused moisture to escape all over my garage. Best Buy should offer an install kit that has a flexible long duct. Why go cheap with a kit that is used for brand new machines that cost thousands and compromise customer satisfaction? Do it right once !

The installers came at the scheduled time, took away the old washer/dryer and packaging, gave me sometime to clean up the area and installed and quickly guided me through the operation of both, very satisfied.
