The two men who delivered and installed the gas range and hood did an excellent job. They were friendly, professional and ensured that everything was clean when they left, taking the old appliances with them. I was very happy with their services.

Carefully done, nothing damaged, I had to refine the installation with some minor changes to make it better. But great job getting range up a full flight of steps, and removing the old range without incident.

We felt very frustrated with the installation of the Range. First off, when we ordered the appliances the sales consultant did not ask if we had LP or Natural Gas. Truthfully, we didn’t think of it either at the time. When the installers showed up to deliver and install the Microwave, Dishwasher and Range, the guy said they would have to come back for the Range install because it wasn’t noted they had to do the conversion from Natural Gas to LP. He also mentioned that it would take 4 hours at least to do the conversion The guy also said we would have to order the hardware to do the conversion. He said we would have to call and order it. When we called the agent on the phone said, “No, we have to go back to the store and purchase it separately there. We went back to the Bloomington store which is at least a 40 minute drive one way. They told us, “No the parts are included with the Range.” Sure enough, the installers show back up a week later, and find the parts right away, and had it installed in less than an hour. We where completely lied to by the installer because they didn’t feel like completing the job day 1. Instead we had to wait another week. I am completely good with never doing business with Best Buy and Geek Squad again. In my line of work, if I lied to my customers the way we got deceived, I would not have a job. Poor, poor customer service.

Would not install due to the height clearance but installer did call his supervisor to see if it was allowable. It was not but at least he tried. They did come back the next day to remove my old oven once it had been disconnected and the new one installed by my plumber. Also refunded my installation fee so although the oven could not be installed I thought Best Buy handled it well
