Installation made easy

I love it when things go as planned and when there are no problems. They were very polite and pleasant. Wish all service personnel were so good. Love the fact that they hauled away the old stove and were very neat.

Nightmare

So they left with it and didn't install it. I had paid for both installation and delivery. Called on the phone, got transferred 5 times, each time waiting for 30 to 60 mins a piece only to be told they can't help me let me transfer you AGAIN. After half a day on the phone they finally got someone who stated they see the problem and verified I had paid for the installation I had to reschedule. The guys that showed up with the item this time installed it. The middle burner didn't work. They said I will have to call and have it replaced but left the item with me for use until a new one can be sent. To get the new one I had to go through the same bounce around process as before. half a day on the phone being passed around for them to arrange a new one. When the new one arrived AGAIN they sent a crew not capable of installation even though it was paid for. My uncle who is a plumber unplugged it for them so they took the old, left the new unattached and I had to have my uncle hook it up even though I already paid for installation. After it's installed I notice the door does not close properly, I look inside and there is bondo. It's used and someone tried to fix it. I paid for new. So AGAIN I had to call and go though the entire process, hours on the phone ect. ect. I told them to make sure installation was included as I paid for it and they keep sending people who arean't qualifed to install. Third burner was delivered and installed, everything worked, appeared to be new this time. The guy installing it set it to cook for 1hr to burn off the coating inside, said it should be good after that. He left a paper manual that was taped inside there and it caught fire. Firearms going off...had to pull it out. Stove not damaged from it but my house was full of smoke. Best Buy customer service was friendly but incompetent, most were from India, couldn't hear you over the other 100 people in the background and had such thick accents it was hard to communicate. They transferred me time and again not knowing what I really need or who among them could set up the appointments. They tried to pawn off on me a used stove when I paid for a new and I had to get my uncle to install it one of the three times even though I paid for installation. Horrible experience. friendly customer service but incompetent. I don't usually give a terrible review but I never want to experience that slew of events again. Oh they said they felt bad and would contact me to offer me something because of my bad experience but they never called. You expect me to call you and ask for my discount? That would subject me to the same ordeal all over again, Half a day on the phone.....I don't think so. Keep it, I'll start shopping somewhere else from now on, maybe Home Depot or something. The worse part is, I'm disabled and it takes the world out of me to get even simple things done because I'm always in pain. Not your fault I'm disabled but Jesus that made it so much worse.

Efficient service

All messed up

The range originally came damaged, but even if that had not been the case, they couldn’t install because they didn’t have the knowledge or ability to do that So, we had to spend another $100 for an electrician. Then, because of COVID, they would not try again. All they would do was to drop it off at the house and we’d have to figure out how to get it in and install it ourselves. Well, no! We’d already paid for installation, but too bad. So, we had to wait weeks. What a flaming mess!!! There was no attempt to provide customer service during any step of the process.

Loved the product, awful service

When they came to the install for the stove They ruined our floor in our kitchen. Our Project manager at our new home had to go down to the store because he called and was hung up on after being on hold for 30 minutes. I have also been hung up and customer service has awful the entire time. He got the store and was told the manager was not there so he emailed her and has heard nothing back about the damages. I feel like I should not have to be moving in a new construction home with damage because of delivery from your store. We will not be shopping here again.

very good installation

The guy who did it was very personable and did a great job of answering questions that my wife had as he did the install. It would have been great if we could have been more specific on the time scheduled for him to arrive but other than that it was well worth it.

Excellent appliance / excellent install

But the star of the show was the fantastic install job by Best Buy. I could not have asked for better service or attitude of the installer. Completely and totally pleased with the service and the attitude of the installer.

Great service

The installation team arrived at the early side of that window. They were friendly and fast installing my range. They went over basic usage instructions and left no mess behind. The service was definitely worth the price they charged.

Very good installers

Install went fast. They should have a truck with a hydrolick tailgate, stoves weighed over 150 lbs. and had to be moved on and off truck.

Worth it

We weren’t sure if they could install the gas range because my shut off is in the basement. Luckily installler made a phone call and all was good. They know what they’re doing and very professional. On time as well.
