Had 2 separate techs come out to hook up the stove. 1st techs just left it in the box and claimed I needed a plug socket installed to be able to plug it in. Had an electrician out and we decided to open the box and check and the cord in fact did reach so it sat in my kitchen a month in a box for no reason. Once I determined that the oven could be plugged in we moved it into place and called and scheduled the second crew to come out and make sure the gas hook up is correct. They then call day of and say call the gas company and refuse to come. Please explain what their actual responsibilities were regarding hooking up and installation l. What do they actually do cause so far it’s absolutely nothing. I’m almost certainly returning the oven and canceling my memberships this has been absolutely awful service.

Our favorite stove died, so we needed a replacement. This is a $5,800 stove, by far the nicest stove we will ever have. During the first installation attempt, we were told by the installers that, though we have electrical power behind the stove, we needed to up the amperage from 20 to 40. This meant hiring an electrician to run a brand new line all the way back from our box. When the installers came the second time, they were not able to install the stove as the floor needed a 1.5 inch platform added, to raise the stove to meet the counters. Why the first installers did not tell us this, I do not know. We raised the floor as requested and on third installation attempt the floor was correct, the electrical was proper, but now we were told that the gas line now needed to be moved. WHAT? Maybe someone could have told us this teo installation attemps back? We never had the same installers. During these failures, no one called us to to follow-up to understand why things were going wrong. We gave up hosting Thanksgiving at our home, and now the stove still is not properly installed and the fourth installation attempt happens on December 22 - maybe. Beware. The process just does not work, as it seems that Best Buy hires 3rd party installers. They do not communicate well. Hope this helps.

Yes, they disconnected the dryer and with functioning shut-off valve.

I want to start by saying, the product, a GE gas range is great and we love it. Our issue was with the installation. After it was installed, we began smelling gas. The person who came out originally came back out, looked things over and said everything was fine. In a day, we could smell gas again. After talking with Best Buy, it was decided to replace the unit. When this took place, the same individual came back out. We had placed blankets on the floor to protect our brand new floor from scratching. The individual accused my mother-in-law (she was there for the appointment because I had already been away from work for 2 days for this) of trying to hide scratches that we would blame on him. The day after the installation of the new range, we could again smell gas. Since we were building a new home, we contacted our builder to make sure there wasn't issues with the gas line. Their contractor came out and used a detector to determine the issue was where the gas line was attached to the wall. He tightened the hose that was installed and everything has been fine since. Unbelievable that Best Buy would have somebody installing products that isn't able to properly tighten a gas hose.

Someone isn't looking at things very good. Our equipment isn't expected to be delivered and installed until August twenty ninth. So their is no way I can give you an accurate rating
