Samsung Gas Range

Seemed to be annoyed at any questions about the operation of the range. Did not clean up as well as should be expected. Samsung Gas Range was of Good Quality and I am pleased with the product itself.

I had to runt to the hardware store during his install to get a few fittings for my stove install. I was pretty disappointed, not talk of refunding the cost. It was only $10-15, certainly didn't expect that I'd have to get my own fittings.

Install was not the best

They didn’t even have the permit at the time of install and ordered it the following week. Not what I had expected. I probably won’t have them install it again and just hire my own contractor.

First thing they said was they couldn't do it because we didn't have enough clearance between the gas cooktop and the upper cabinets. Immediately tried to sell us an LG because LG didn't have that problem. Seems like BestBuy wants to sell LG. Had the stove installed by another company with no problem except that I had to pay for it! Should have been covered under our plan with BestBuy. We are very unhappy, and will not be buying from BestBuy in the future.

Installation

What should have taken no longer than 2 to 3 hours at the most ended up taking the entire day. By the time the job was finished, we were more than frazzled. We had experience with other Best Buy installers in the past and they were excellent. Definitely not the case this time.

Installed Natural Gas to Propane

No one ever asked if I had natural gas or propane. Not a big deal; I'll pay the conversion fee. My problem comes with the tech going ahead and hooking it up and advising to use the stove differently until the conversion can be done. I was advised that this could not be done for a week, despite him being at my house already with the kit. I called my local propane company to see if they can do the conversion. They advised they could and not to use the range as it is now because this is extremely dangerous. Best Buy saying they can do a one time "make right" and refund my installation fee, but should something be wrong with the range once it's corrected, that they would "be done with me." Advised that I should wait on the "make right " to make sure it's going to work. So extremely frustrated right now!

We are waiting for our third order to be completed. The first two stoves were damaged. The installation workers have been helpful, but we still don’t have a stove.

Just ok
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I could have installed myself, the sub-contractor installers did not bring the purchased lines needed, thank god I had them already on hand. Also, it must be leveled again, but us or another professional, as it was not leveled during installation. Its stuff like this that makes me wonder why Best Buy got rid of its original installer service and went sub-contractor heavy. WHY!!!

Horrible installation experience

Installers were late, didn’t have all the parts required to install, and tried to tell me I’d have to pay for the parts before he called his boss who told him Best Buy would cover it. I was told they’d come back the next day to finish the job, but they didn’t. Called the day after that and they said they’d come that day, and they were late again. I was told they’d contact me about scheduling the inspection with the city, but that didn’t happen. I had to call repeatedly to get the inspection scheduled.

Disappointed

Although I paid for service installation and extended warranty. The service was marked completed but was not completed. The appointment was to be rescheduled on 11/16/22 for 12/6/22 then 2nd call of 12/8/22 back on 11/16/22. Waited no one called, texted or emailed. Called today and still no new install date. I have all my confirmation emails from Best Buy as proof a new appointment was given. I was told a ticket would be submitted and I have to wait for and email 24 to 48 hours before I get a new install date where the install actually happens!

The problem was we only had to hit start on the Range and everything worked fine after that. I was on the phone with multiple people trying to figure this out. And then on a whim I just started the oven and Wallah. It would have been nice if you installer would have known that

However they never filed the permit and I had to track them down and make some calls in order to get them to do it even though I had already paid. A few weeks later he t was resolved. Called Best Buy and was told they couldn’t do anything.

Anything but Professional

The second time they came out was just as bad as they had the wrong parts. The third time I had been to the hardware store and purchased the correct part for connection and they were able to complete the install. I have not received reimbursement for the parts, line install and hall-a-way as it was not needed. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND A PURCHASE THAT REQUIRED INSTALL.

3rd party installation

We did have multiple issues with the arrival date and kept being told “our stove had been delivered to the store but they couldn’t locate it to come to us”
