    Hired a Maintenance Man

    I ended up hiring a maintenance man to complete my install. It would take nearly a week to be able to schedule with Best Buy, plus I was being charged nearly double the amount I paid someone else to complete.

    The initial appointment to deliver, Install and haul away the old gas range was from 9-12. The installation guys came at 1pm and was done at 2pm. I ended up taking the day off instead of a half work day. I called and complained to Best Buy but no one ever called back. The installation cost kept going up with different fees so instead of 200, it ended up costing me 400. The same price as the gas range that I purchased.

    We were set up for a gas install, had to be rescheduled twice. Good once they finally came out, but 2 stars for the wait.

    Wrong kit and many calls with no resolution

    Review is of installation only - The install person was great - the kit sold in store was incorrect. Contact store multiple times and was told it would be taken care of. Still had not been corrected and can not use full function of the dryer. The communication process is ridiculous - many calls, a lot of on hold time with no resolution. Very frustrated.

    Horrible!! They broke my stove and then there was a gas smell but they refused to come back. They told me to call Best Buy. I have been waiting almost 2 months for a stove because they didn’t haven’t one. The consumer service at best buy was horrible as well.

    purchased gas range not installed by best buy sub contractor, range was hard pipe with no flex hose. contractor did not know or has ever seen a hard piped gas range.

    Installation was cancelled several times. First time due to damage to stove , 2nd and 3rd time due miscommunication btwn install company and bestbuy

    The gas line is still not installed. No correspondence in any form after the technicians estimating the cost for installation came by. The need to install a line from a gas manifold in the basement to the stove was mentioned before I bought this stove. What are my options? What will Best Buy do?

    The installation team was horrible and unprofessional. There was no greeting or smile from either of the specialists, and they were impatient and rude the entire time. There was also no COVID precautions and one of them did not wear face coverings when they entered my apartment. Worst service I've ever experienced.

    The gas range was purchased in September. This is the third delivery date set for installation. This morning I was informed there would be no installation since the product was once again back ordered. I wish Best Buy which prides itself on the Geek Squad could learn to communicate with the customer.

    Lesson learned, never let Best Buy install a stove. I smelled gas each day after the install. I called KitchenAid who sent out a technician. His exact words "The connection was just bubbling away".

    Purchased in store item on January 26. Was told delivery and installation would be on February 17th. As of today February 24th I am still waiting.

    Not call no showed on two appts, then came to the third just to tell me I needed an emergency shut off valve and it’s another two weeks for them to come out. Ended up installing myself.

    They wouldn't take the time to explain the stove. The burners are not adjusted correctly. The burners all run high even when you turn them to low. Not happy with the stove preforms.

    I purchased this fir my parent who are in their 80s. I purchased installation along with the oven/stove. The installer demanded payment from my parent. They were unable to reach me via phone. The installer told them he had spoken with me. I would not reccomend installation from best buy.

    Guy installed it, but he refused to take my old sto e which was part of his job. It ended up being costly and a headache. Hacks like that ruin it for BestBuy. On too he charged me for the haul, which he didnt do. Smh
