The first time I saw this movie was in high school and it really impressed me as it relates to science, culture and it has ties to today's society. The movie has a lot of meaning to it and it makes you think if there is ever an superior human being who is not genetically perfect. The script is written flawlessly and the score is amazing good. This is my favorite film of all time.

I recently bought this on Blu-ray and rewatched this classic sci-fi from 1997. It still holds up very well, even without a ton of special effects or CGI. Hawke and Thurman were perfect for their roles. I was a bit disappointed in the special features though. The specials weren't well organized/labelled and weren't well produced; Although they were interesting. Overall, I'm happy w/this buy.

I saw this movie when I was in college and had no idea about the plot or anything. Actually just saw for the sake of seeing a free movie from my friend! Now it is one of the top 3 movies that I love along with Fisher King. I dont want to spoil the movie for you if you havent seen the movie yet. TRUST me this movie will stay in your conciousness for a long time.

It's a great movie with original ideas about the not too distant future and an ordinary guy struggling to overcome barriers put in front of him in life because of a DNA analysis done when he was born.

Thought-provoking story about a futuristic society based on genetic engineering. Those born naturally are flawed and thus at a disadvantage. The disc extras are ok; I would have liked to hear a director's commentary.

This is an excellent movie, one of my husband's favorites actually. Check it out, you will not be disappointed!!

As part of the curriculum we show this movie to discuss bioethics. I never saw the film until this year and I thoroughly enjoyed it, as did my students. I had several actually watch it on TV a week or so later.

One of my favorite movies! Such an inspiring story about overcoming all the odds!

It got too religious close to the end. But on the upside, Uma Thurman is gorgeous in the movie. I could see why Ethan Hawke got together with her. The cinmatography is quite great and the picture is rendered very conceptual. But like I said , it went into the religious dead end which I could not appreciate.

This is just an alright movie but it looks really good on blu-ray.
