Sony continues it's excellent transfers, and for Gattaca with it's beautiful palate of colors and evocative cinematography, it's a stunner and the soundmix from Michael Nyman is ethereal

This movie has never looked better. Colors are more nuanced and more detail is revealed with the added resolution. Steelbook has a nice shiniy finish and actually looks better in person.

Very underrated movie...old Blu-Ray looked pretty good, but 4k picture brings it up a notch in the visual department with HDR and wide color gamut applied! Highly recommended!

I am not a big fan of sci fi and do not go out and seek it. My boys and hiusband are fans. My youngest son was recovering from surgury and we got this for him. We all watched it and loved it. It is one of those rare films I would actually watch again and again.

Side by side with the original blu-ray this is nothing less than an excellent restoration. Colors, lighting, resolution are all a significant upgrade. Well worth owning again.

A perfect movie for the nights you want a good story but don't want a movie that exhausts you with too much gun play. It is not a movie that appeals to everyone. Not a "chick flick" or a movie for "guys who likes movies" more of a middle of the road drama.

Its an interesting dystopian look at the future of genetic testing, and how it impacts society. It has a certain look and feel that is almost sterile. It is difficult to say whether 4k is needed, but the movie was clear and watchable.

If you love sci-fi and appreciate a cool story, this is the movie for you! Human genetic modification, it doesn't get more science-y than that. This is one of Jude Law's breakthrough performances, it does not disappoint!! One of my favorite movies.

Probably science fiction when it was made, but is probably being done today. Very interesting movie with the best picture and sound possible.

This hidden sci-fi gem from 1997 still holds up really well. The UHD presentation is flawless! If you are a fan, or if your are just curious, pick it up!!

Sci-Fi film where space travel is just a pretext for an absorbing story about genetics, prejudice and discrimination.

This movie is a real example of science fiction ... an excellent blend of current science and the possibilities it offers. The cast is amazing and really sell the story; it shows the best part of the human spirit moving forward.

Jude law and ethan hawke shine in this noir style sci-fi masterpiece. Great acting, great cinematography, and a fantastic mystery story make this one of my most recommended modern sci-fi films. And for the price, it's a steal.

I'm so happy this came to 4K the colors and detail put this over the Blu ray and would recommend adding this to anyone's collection.

Updated color, resolution looks about the same as the old blu-ray. Atmos has just a few moments. Purchase if you are a fan of the movie.

Beautiful movie, but pacing can lag at times. The acting is intentionally subtle, but the emotions and struggles are evident. If you enjoy cerebral and thoughtful sci-fi this is your movie.

An Absolute Great movie to add to my Library. This is a must purchase to start your collections. Great sound effects and film.
