Microwave for elderly mother

I placed felt pads on the door open button and the 30 second heat button. She can easily operate it, and now has a nice, small unit for heating up single serving items.

It is easy to use and it was no problem setting it up. The only problem I have experienced is that it is not big enough to accommodate a dinner plate. So I have to use smaller plates.

Also it's 700 watts so not very powerful, but I just wanted a small countertop microwave for personal use. If you need something with more room nd more powre, get something bigger.

The only thing holding me back from giving it the 5 stars is . . . be careful that your dinner plate fits in the oven! Ours are a little big and you have to sort of tilt it to get it inside. So I advise measuring your plate (or whatever container you use to heat/cook with) before purchasing.

Correct depth to replace a GE Spacesaver
