Stopped working after 6 months of light use. Started to make off noises then just stopped.
We want to help you with your microwave not working. We recommend performing an electronic reset by turning off the breaker for 3 to 5 minutes and turn it back on. If the issue persists, we recommend calling our warranty team at 833-426-3393.

Useless return policy - makes one prefer Amazon

No issue with the product itself, didn’t open it as I found it was wrong size. Attempt to return it for a refund was rejected, discovered that BestBuy has a measly 15 day return policy, unless you sign up for their club.
Will think twice in shopping with BestBuy in the future, plenty of retailers provide a standard 30 day return policy. Indeed, while I’d prefer to shop local, BestBuy don’t make that easy, com-armed to the customer service and return policies provided by Amazon!

Incredibly small, cheap material, annoying lock for safety and keeps going even after the beeping
The child lock out feature can be disabled by following these steps. 1. Press and hold the “7” key for 3-5 seconds or until you hear a beep. Release. 2. Press the “9” key. Release. 3. Press the “0” key. Release. There will be two short beeps and the display will flash “UnLo” to confirm the default condition has been updated successfully. If the issues with the microwave continue, please call 1-800-432-2737 to discuss your options under the terms of the warranty. -Vikki@GEAppliances

Burned out in less than a year. Had to get a gift card from GE to replace it.

GE makes good product but this microwave is too small
We certainly understand how important it is to have your microwave working properly. This microwave does have a child lock, and the door will lock every time a cook cycle starts. If you need to disable this lock feature, you can do so by pressing the "7" key for 3-5 seconds. Then press the 9 key and release. Finally press the 0 key and release. There will be two short beeps, and the display will show "UnLo". The full description of this can be found on page 12 of the Use and Care manual on the product page. -Kacie@GEAppliances

Stopped working after 2 months. I tried to contact customer service and was told i had to bring it to a store myself for it to be serviced (I live in NYC and carrying a 40lb microwave from my apartment to a store is just not possible for me). So it seems I’m stuck with a horrible waste of money, time, and energy.
