Posted .We'd like to help out with your microwave not heating as expected, the odors, and the condensation. We recommend trying out an electronic reset, to help with the heating issues. This can be done by unplugging the power cord for 2-3 minutes, then plugging it back in. An electrical odor in new microwaves can be normal because the electronic board is "curing" as the circuit board material is heated for first few uses. For the condensation, we recommend making sure food that needs to be covered while cooking is covered properly and make sure that there are no items blocking the airflow around the microwave case. For additional troubleshooting, we recommend checking out our support article titled "Microwave - Moisture or Condensation" located on our GE Appliances website in the support section.

The wattage may not be as much as bigger microwaves but this machine does the job very well and looks good too!

It is less powerful than other bigger microwaves and has a limited life before it struggles to turn or makes noises, but I have bought another as a replacement. Couldn't refuse a good sale.

The spring action to open the door stopped working about 2 weeks after we bought it, it is super annoying to have to push the botton then simultaniously use your other hand to open the door. Honestly if it hadn't been the holiday season we definetly would have at minimum exchanged it but now I just would really rather return it if we still can. For the price it just should all work correctly. OH and 1-2 automatically starts for the corresponding minute.

Stopped working after two months, junk!

This was supposed to be the answer to my size and use requirements but it burned out after using it. I also had problems when I tried to heat up plates of food, it would often leave them cold and required multiple minutes to even bring things to luke warm. It was a terrible purchase.

I downsized as an empty-nester, and this appliance fits well at the end of the counter against the end-wall (instead of the back wall) saving space. Well-lit on the inside, easy to clean.
