My elderly mom with arthritis didn’t want to use overhead microwave any more. It’s above glass top stove/oven. This little microwave is perfect for her everyday use. Easy to operate, compact.

I opted for a smaller microwave on a shelf above the range. This was the perfect fit. It's easy to use. Holds a full size dinner plate. An added bonus for me personally, was that it matched all my other GE appliances.

Attempt to return it for a refund was rejected, discovered that BestBuy has a measly 15 day return policy, unless you sign up for their club. Will think twice in shopping with BestBuy in the future, plenty of retailers provide a standard 30 day return policy. Indeed, while I’d prefer to shop local, BestBuy don’t make that easy, com-armed to the customer service and return policies provided by Amazon!

I wanted a compact model so as not to take up too much room on my counter. This is the perfect size for me. Takes a little longer to heat things up, but that was to be expected. Looks great in my kitchen with my new stainless steele appliances.

Noticed that there is always condensation build up after each use and we would have to wipe the doors. What we didn’t do was wipe the inside. We noticed rust starting to appear after about ~1 year of use. This meant that, that’s when it got bad enough for our eyes to see. Fast forward 2 years and the rust is really bad where we no longer feel safe using it. The extended warranty wasn’t worth it as it doesn’t cover rust. There were other reviews about rust on this product but I ignored them.; they were right.
