Doesn't work after 20 months

It appears that the issue is with the control panel, as I kept receiving the error code 8888. The product has only a 1-year warranty, and it failed after less than 2 years of use.

We do not have any troubleshooting for rusting on the inside of a microwave and deeply apologize for this inconvenience. The buttons aren't always responsive and it takes a long time to heat items up compared to larger ones (that may be the compromise of a smaller size).

The key pad is simply to faint to easily read. Realized I would have to keep a flash light nearby. If that wouldn’t bother you, then it is fine.I returned it and got the slightly larger and very easy to read Insigna microwave. That works great so far.

I wasn't expecting much downgrade from my old microwave, I quickly found out this wouldn't get the job done. Also after 3 weeks it stopped working, would not recommend.

GE said they would send us a check if we replaced it with another it with another GE microwave. We did and this one has a problem with the door latch sticking, requiring 2 hands to open the door. We are still waiting on the check to reimburse us for the first microwave. We will not be buying another.

Others here have commented on fire hazard as well. Will be reporting to BestBuy and CPSC.
