It is really for a dorm room or RV kitchen with seriously limited space. A dinner plate didn't fit in it and we don't have oversized plates. I reordered the next size GE microwave at 1.1 cu ft and it is perfect. Fits a dinner plate but still has a small footprint on the counter. Hope this helps someone else make the right decision and save return shipping.

The door wiggles in and out when it's shut and operating versus the tight seal we always had on prior microwaves and it makes a noise like something's hitting the fan. GE's prior 0.7 model was better.
