Posted .We are glad to hear you like this feature. We will share your feedback with our teams. Starting April 1st, all countertop microwave ovens come equipped with a Child Resistant Oven Door. Opening the microwave door now requires a two-step process for enhanced child safety. The use of child-resistant oven door latches by all manufacturers of microwave ovens helps to reduce the likelihood of young children handling hot foods and beverages items. Any countertop microwave manufactured after March 2024 will have the child resistant door.

However, I am not jumping for joy after using it. First of all, the paperwork that comes with it is very limited. You have to go online to find a better manual but even that is lacking. Used as a microwave, the food often steams up the interior and the glass door ( just cooking oatmeal for 90 sec..). Why have a glass door when you can't often see through it? I have tried using the air fryer but it seems to take me longer than I would expect to cook the food. Without much in the way of instructions, it's been more of a trial-and-error for me. I don't think I would recommend this unit.

Only drawback is the Panel doesn't light up. Have NOT tried the Air Fry yet because it may make a real mess inside the unit(?) Time will tell for longevity.
