We are sorry to hear you are having this issue with your new microwave. This model has 950 Watts, so as long as your power level is set to 10 it should be heating up your food completely. Please review page 8 in the manual regarding your power level settings.

We understand your microwave not working must be concerning, and we want to assist. If the microwave isn’t working at all, you may want to check the fuse or circuit breaker to ensure there’s no issue, and/or try disconnecting it from power for a couple of minutes before reconnecting; this resets the electrical components and can often resolve an issue. If it may be helpful, more troubleshooting tips are available on page 14 of the manual; that can be viewed on our GE Appliances website when you look up the model number and go to the product’s page. If you think you need to take advantage of the warranty, information on that is available on page 15.
