    Bought a brand new broken Microwave countertop!!

    My Microwave oven I bought there has never worked!! The control panel does not light either. Almost burned the house down twice!! You set the oven for 45 seconds and it changes to 45 minutes by itself. Happened another time when I set it for 30 seconds. It went to 30 minutes!! I would bring it back for a refund if I could carry it to The car to take it back to Best Buy!! GE brand.

    Although I like this, it does not warm the food fast enough, the door with the lock is annoying

    stopped working after not even less than two months. tried returning it at the store (looked up if it was possible to return online purchases instore and it is) but the worker was down right rude and told me that they won't accept it even when the same microwave was on display? like just say you didn't want to do your job but don't waste my time like that.... i won't be buying in best buy for a while. really disappointed in their customer service. if you're thinking about making an online purchase and wanna make a return instore, don't waste your time, you'll probably end up in the same situation as me.

      We understand any issue with your microwave must be difficult to deal with, and we apologize for the trouble you've had. Regarding your experience with Best Buy, if you'd like to share your feedback with them, their customer service can be reached at 1 (888) 237-8289. If the unit isn't coming on at all, we recommend disconnecting the microwave from power for a couple of minutes before reconnecting; this resets the components and can often resolve an issue. Troubleshooting tips are available on page 14 of the manual; that can be viewed on our GE Appliances website when you look up the model number and go to the product's page. If you aren't able to solve your situation with troubleshooting, information on taking advantage of the warranty is available on page 15. You can also send us a private message over our GE Appliances social media (such as Instagram or Facebook) with a copy of this review, your model/serial numbers and contact information.     But I don’t like the control panel. You have to press a panel button just to be able to push the lever to open the microwave.

      You can disable the child lock by following the “How to Disable Child Lock” steps on page 10 of the Owner’s Manual, which can be viewed at the bottom of the Features tab on the product page of the Best Buy website. Lauren@GEAppliances GE_Appliances

    Making loud sounds

    Not happy with the product, it making loud clinking sound while in use. Seems the motor which is spinning the plate is having some issue. I'll return this product.

The clinking sound that you are experiencing is considered a normal operating sound, and we advise taking advantage of your limited warranty. Your warranty details are located at the end of your Owner's Manual. You can view the Owner's Manual by clicking the ‘From the Manufacturer’ tab and scrolling all the way down on the page, you will see a link that says Use and Care Manual. GE_Appliances

    Mine keeps turning off randomly. Ichecked my outlet or my circuit breakers it was not the problem. it was just a microwave problem.

    Microwave is very noisy while cooking food. Very loud humming sounds. Glass window in the front steams up inside, making it impossible to see food in the oven.
