This microwave works well. It is easy to clean and heats appropriately.

Our house hold is very HAPPY that I purchased the very easy to use and large space that it has to heat up large portion's of food for two growing boys 9 & 10 now and our college princesses but most of all Dad n Mon love the easy and fast cleaning surface. We love GE we have a refrigerator that I purchased in 2000 and it’s still going strong 23 years later

The GE 1.1 cubic foot 950 Watt is a welcome addition to my kitchen. The price on sale was favorable and the unit arrived without issues. This replaced a 15 year old product that still worked but the door function just froze up. This unit has the same door mechanism and I hope it will last as long as my old Avanti model. The unit is working as it should for my uses; boiling water, reheating leftovers and steaming frozen vegetables. I very much like the safety feature of not heating until you have "Food" inside. This unit is larger than my previous one and I'm learning the new necessary heating times. I agree with others that the control pad needs to be easier to read. My one negative is the microwave has one leg shorter than the other three causing it to rock up and down. I deducted a star for this annoyance. I put a placemat underneath solving the issue. While there unit looks solid it is a bit rickety, but I don't think it'll fall apart on me. It's very good for me and my lite usage. Not sure if it will last for heavy duty use. I'm happy with my purchase.

I bought tis microwave for a small apartment. It is sleek and slender and fits perfectly in the space. It heats food evenly.

Pipe burst in our kitchen and we were forced to set up an alternative kitchen on our 3rd floor during repairs. This microwave is perfect for us to use now and along with a coffeemaker, will be perfect for our guests staying in the 3rd floor afterward. We put it through heavy use and it stood strong. I thought it would be small, but it’s a good size inside.

We bought the exact same GE Microwave Model JES1145SHSS five years ago and it started to cut out power. We loved it so much and use it everyday for heating water, vegetables and leftovers. The new one is just as easy to use, not to big and works good. Only complaint is they still have not made the button labels brighter or backlit. Love the interior light that turns on during operation and when the door opens. This feature is missing on many other manufacturers. The price is amazing for the features.

This is small but all my dishes fit just fine. Fits perfect in spot i have. My son told me this has power compared to old one. Works fine for us.

This microwave doesn’t look or feel small, but it’s small enough to fit in my small kitchen. Love it. Works very well. The light comes on when food is heating. When you press the button, the door pops open well. Be sure to take off all the protective plastic—it’s on there like a glove inside and out.

As a first time home buyer, my home did not come with a microwave. The builders included an insert for a microwave but the insert was too small for the larger microwaves. My local best buy appliances rep walked me through the options and was very open and honest about the choices. This was a great buy and was easy to setup. The microwave was lightweight and I was able to place it into the insert myself without any struggles.

I like the color I thought it might be a little more powerful. I find that I have to heat my food and tea just a little longer than I did in my old microwave but it works & I may just be impatient and may also need to read the manual lol I just put my food in and press start & wait like a hungry savage...

I purchased this as I needed a small countertop microwave and I m really happy with it . It had almost all the required options and very convenient. This was my first GE appliance as I have had problems with my earlier Panasonic microwave.

Bought this because I have food allergies and needed my own place to prepare my food. Works great, holds plates and bowls no issues and isn’t super loud.
