This is a very good microwave and I would have given it a 5 star rating but because there is one fault with it. I had my last Microwave 10 years if you can believe that so I got use to the features it had. The feature is seconds. This one you can only use the seconds by 30 at a time. I would prefer to be able to hit 1,2,3, etc. seconds individually (Example: I heat my cats food for 8 seconds so instead of just hitting 8, I have to hit 30 seconds and watch over and stop microwave at 22 seconds it is a perfect size for a counter. And I was able to get it a a very good price along with 4 years protection from Best Buy. The Geek Squad are great people

Went with this GE microwave based on the favorable reviews and I’m not disappointed! This is a solid midsize microwave that has all the features we wanted and the light inside (missing on a different model) is essential. We had a similar one that started to breakdown so it wasn’t too difficult to get used to this one quickly. We are beginning to be GE fans when a repairman (for another large appliance) told us he never is called to repair GE refrigerators. Figured it was worth a try on this small appliance and so far, we are not disappointed!

I've had this for a month and a half, and overall I'm happy with this purchase. It's not the biggest or most complex or sophisticated microwave out there. But for what I paid for it (I got it on sale) and for what I need my microwave to do, I'm pleased with it. It's the right size for my single household and the simple reheating tasks I have. The stainless steel matches the rest of my kitchen. It's not for everyone, but it's perfect for me.
